**Lexi for adoption **
Female
5 1/2 months ish
Not spayed as too young
Vaccinated
Great with other dogs
Great with horses
Not cat tested
House trained. Lead trained but a work in progress
Recall improving all the time
Greyhound x staff possibly.
She’s growing and getting taller.
Those of you who follow our page will know this little girl is as tough as old boots
She survived parvo virus with all the odds stacked against her
She is still recovering and hasn’t yet had her second vaccination. For this reason she can only meet fully vaccinated dogs
She has a super temperament and loves everyone.
She’s living with children horses and other dogs and is having a ball.
She is extremely active and not a d***y greyhound who wants to sleep all day.
She is a puppy and wants to spend all day running round like a loon
We took her direct from the pound at the end of December so we do not know her full history. She hasn’t put a paw wrong whilst in our care.
Ideal home
We need a very special home for this girl.
She nearly died and is very special to myself and Sue . Plus Becky her foster and dawn who fostered her during her recovery.
She must be re homed with at least one other active, playful dog.
We will not re home her to families where both parents work full time office or home based. She will not sit by your feet all day.
She can be rehomed with children . Preferably over 8 but we will consider younger if parents are extremely experienced dog owners
Ideally she needs an outdoorsy home with hoomans around most of the time. She’s used to be left but this will need to be built up gradually in a new home.
She needs a decent size garden to play and mooch.
We did have a lovely family lined up for her, but we all decided Lexi is far too energetic for the family and their little dog.
