🌈2023 🎉

That’s a wrap! 2023 over and out! And what a year it has been 🍾🍸💕

There have been some extreme highs this year.
✨ We welcomed Amie to the team
✨ Passed my Saddlery Flocking Exam
✨ Passed my Final Saddle Fitting Written Exam
✨ Completed our first Saddle fitting clinic with Nutwell Saddlery at South Coast Equestrian
✨ Treated so many equine, canine and farm friends along the way, successfully 💕

However, there has been 1 very big low this year which I cannot not mention. Losing my beloved horse Merlin earlier this year. Merlin will continue and forever be a legacy to this business as he is true reason behind the career I do, today ❤️‍🩹🫶🏻🧙 🌈

Once again, I just want to say a a big thank you for all your support throughout 2023. It has been a pleasure working with you and treating your animals, this year! All the ongoing, support and love we have had this year has meant my little business has continued to grow.

I am so excited for what 2024 will hopefully bring! For now cheers and a HAPPY NEW YEAR 🥳 🥂

SR Vet Physio has recruited a new member and we are very excited to introduce you all to Amie.

Amie will be helping with all aspects of the business in terms, of admin.

In her spare time she enjoys running mostly after her 2 year old Norah! Keeping fit generally and socialising.

Saddle Fitting 🐴

I have had a brilliant 3 days away at Moulton College with the Society of Master Saddlers. I have learnt a huge amount which hopefully I can now transfer and share with you all, at appointments. Thank you to all the team and lecturers, it’s been an amazing week.

I am now looking forward to working and being mentored by the team at Nutwell Saddlery. To further my knowledge before I head back to take my final practical exam, in the future 🫣

ALSO, I’m very sorry for the delay in getting back to everyone this week. I know I have been extremely slow which is unlike myself. However, I promise everyone will of heard from me by the end of the weekend.

🍾 What A Week 🎊

I will start this post by apologising for the delay/slowness with replies this week.

As many of my clients know, I have been wanting to further my education and qualifications within the saddlery world.

Last week, I received the email to confirm the Master Saddler Association Committee had approved my membership application 👏🏼

SO,

This week, I have been away at Cirencester Saddlers on a flocking course to start this new adventure.

I’m very pleased and relieved to say I passed my flocking and adjustments exams today 🎉🥳🥂

BIG thank you, to all my clients that let me borrow saddles for my course this week 🥰

Just like that, it’s a wrap! ✅

What a year 2022, has been! It’s simply been amazing 🤩

I would like to take this as an opportunity to say a massive thank you to absolutely everyone who has supported and been apart of SR Vet Physio, 2022 year!

It’s bring a massive smile to my face to look back on all the love, support and memories we have had this year. There’s definitely been a few challenges, scratches of the head but a lot of laughter and smiles. All while my business continues to grow.

2022, is going to be a hard one to beat 👏🏼

However, I have some plans in the pipeline which I cannot wait to share with you all shortly.

So… Roll on 2023 🎉

🎄For the sixth day of our Christmas countdown we have Ras Laffan doing what he enjoys going fast and jumping 🎄

We have met Michelle and Ras Laffan at many clinics and camps over the large few years and it is lovely to see him looking so happy.

Congratulations 🎉 this is a very very well deserved result! Maccy Moo, you did it 💪🏻

It’s been a pleasure being apart of the “behind the scenes team” and supporting the Holnest Team throughout the season 🥰

I shall look forward to cheering you on round that course in May!! Roll on next season 🤩

We did it!! Mac and I are off to BADMINTON!! 🥳🎉 he didn’t put a foot wrong, having to do dressage in the most awful conditions he held it together for a score of 30 and then topped it off with a super double clear to finish 5th out of 100 at Bicton 3DE!
To top it off the Dorset team also won 🥇
Not enough words to describe how much we adore this pony and such proud breeders to have now had two homebreds qualify for Badminton! 🥰
We could not do this without the amazing team behind us. Biggest thank you to Amy Blount Dressage and Emma Fisher for all your training, to the Loveday family for all their support, especially Izzy Loveday who has helped get Mac super fit for this event, and to SR Veterinary Physiotherapy and Luke Larder for keeping our boy in tip top shape. 🫶

I hope everyone has had a lovely weekend in some cooler weather!

Well done to everyone who have been out competing or just enjoying the company of their four legged friends. I always look forward to Sunday evenings and seeing everyone’s updates 🥰

WHAT A DIFFERENCE 🌟

Froggie pictured below, is owned by Clare.

The regular use of physiotherapy, global massage, INDIBA Radiofrequency and Clare working extremely hard over the course of a 3 month period. Has meant Froggie’s is a changed man 👏🏼

This has aided Froggie’s sacroiliac and stifle joint inflammation and the muscle tension through the gluteal muscles to settle. Therefore, improving the symmetry of this horse and making sure even weight bearing in the hind limbs occurs.

I am really pleased with Froggie’s progression considering the chronic nature of the asymmetry but WOW, what a difference!

There remains a slight weakness to the right hindlimb however, sometimes stopping and looking makes you realise how far you have come and that the hard work is paying off 🙌🏻
