STOOGE CLASS...
SATURDAY 4th of MARCH 12noon.
A small group class for those who have dogs which are distracted by other dogs/too interested in other dogs.
This is purely a follow on from 1-1 sessions in order to continue your dogs training.
1 hour sessions, £15 per session.

It's time to sign up for training classes.
*New puppy class commencing on Saturday the 17th at 10.30.
*All training foundations are covered to ensure you & your pup the best start for the future.
*Plenty of mind games that you can practice inside when it's cold & wet.
*Trouble shooting to nip any problems in the bud & help you communicate clearly with your pup.
* Training you to train your dog to cope with the real world.

**Credit where it's due**
A little video of Romanian rescue, Quill, practising his down/ place with increasing distance.
I met this chap & his family last year. As a former street dog, his past is pretty hazy. But judging by his behaviour in the beginning,it wasn't great.
Luckily for him Karen, Martin & their family adopted him.
He suffers with pretty severe anxiety towards new people, other dogs & alot in day to day life.
His first 1-1 I couldn't get closer than about 20ft without him panicking.
Karen & Martin have put so much effort into this boy, he now does a regular group class as well as workshops, works around multiple dogs, people horses & even pigs!
Quill will always be a worrier, but through their work his family have made his life so much happier.
Huge well done guys xx

Great day today! General obedience class, engagement workshop & 1-1s.
As per my normal dippy self, I forgot to take enough photos! But these 2 beauties were in for a bit of 1-1 training. I'm really looking forward to watching their progress, 2 super bright dogs with very on the ball handlers.

Forgive my dodgy recording skills!
Sian & Craig brought Ozzie to see me in September as he was exhibiting reactivity to dogs.
He may not look it in this video, but he's a big lad & very strong.
After implementing a few adjustments to handling, his training is coming on leaps & bounds.
These guys have worked hard & now are reaping the benefits of having a calmer & happier dog.
Well done team! Super proud of how far you've come.
p.s it was chucking down for alot of todays session, but they kept going even though they were soaked through!

Impulse control..
Often overlooked, but vital.
Whether it's livestock, food, toys, other people..whatever the distraction, being able to prevent your dog charging off is so important.
Everyone displayed great progress today, apart from Rusty the pig ( he couldn't stop himself joining in!)
