Reliance Kid having a pop this morning with Callum Bewley doing an excellent job
Reliance Kid on the near side and Ebendi on far side doing a nice piece of quick work
Reliance Kid and Ebendi doing a nice bit of steady work on the grass, both coming along nicely. We’ll try and run Reliance Kid in early October over hurdles, to get him going. Ebendi will probably run on the flat next time, to build his fitness up and give him some confidence after his bad fall. I’ve just been granted a flat license which could give us more options in the future with horses like Ebendi, or horses with similar profiles, and look forward to having horses to run under both codes.
Reliance Kid coming along grand, steady away
It is with mixed feelings we have decided to retire Moore Clouds, and let her have a new life as a brood mare while she is sound, and bowing out on her own terms. I have loved every moment of training her for a new syndicate of owners that have been an absolute pleasure to be around, and enjoyed some fantastic days with them, and can’t thank them enough for giving me a chance. I’d like to thank the lad’s who partnered her in her race’s, Ryan, Danny and Callum, as she’s not been a picnic, but all contributed to the success of her. She only had one way of running and that was to let her go on the lead and try to dictate the race from there, and see how we ended up. She loved running and jumping with a passion, but left everything on the track giving the lot to us, win or lose, but we loved her for it, and things won’t quite be the same without her, for us and all her owners, who enjoyed her. A true character, and charisma in spades, we’ll miss you running, but look forward to her next chapter.
