A lovely one-off home visit and walkies for sweet lady Nellie. She had lots of belly rubs, a sniffy walk around her neighbourhood, and plenty of treats! I really enjoy getting to know a new doggy, whether it's for regular walks or a one-off special occasion.

Last walkies with little Toby as he's moving to a different area with his lovely family. It's been great watching him grow from a teeny puppy to an adventurous young man. Bags of energy and full of fun. He runs so fast his ears turn inside out! Good luck to you all in your new home 🏡 😊 🙏

Teeny weeny, new kid on the block, called 'Meatball', has been out on his first 'out, out' adventure. He's super brave, with special thanks to his big brother Pickle by his side. This miniature long-haired dachshund has bags of personality as well as being the cutest and most difficult guy to photograph! He's so low down for my old knees 😂🤣

Gus & Winnie are 'thick as thieves' but polar opposites! These housemates have such different characters, its lovely getting to know their little quirks and developing our bond together. Such a nice part of being a dog walker 😊

At around 12.50pm I saw for a split second, a light grey whippet type dog? It was running down the bottom of Lindsworth Road heading towards Lifford Lane. I chatted to another lady who'd also spotted it on Sherringham. She and others were also trying to find it. I think the dog might live up Peplins. I put a note through their door saying we'd seen it. Might not live there though?? Really hope its found 🙏

What a week! 🌧 Felt like Atlantis out there some days. Webbed feet have actually formed 🦆. But this afternoon, on my last walk, the sun shone through the trees. Wiped the rain off my glasses and noticed all this colour poking through here there and everywhere. Spring is springing 😊

Oh Darcy....handsome Mr Darcy, you are such a happy chap. Always a pleasure to take this gentleman out for walkies. That smile could charm the birds out of the trees. He's so kind and gentle to all the wildlife we come across, too. Four Cormorants on our last walk!

Gentleman Tommy. He knows what he likes and he likes what he knows! Such a comical chap with a spring in his step as he trots about his neighbourhood and explores the countryside. He's a wonderful boy and I'm chuffed to be working with him.

Puppy Pickle-Schnitzel,  the miniature dachshund is cute as a button 🥰. He's just old enough to start exploring the world. Everything must seem ENORMOUS to him, so understandably he's a little apprehensive but getting oh so brave. Well done Pickle 👏

Ruby and Lucy, the most gentle souls who seem like they've been together forever. Ruby has shown Lucy how to love cuddles and how to give the softest of nudges if ever stop (not that I ever want to 🥰)! Feels an absolute privilege when I look after these gorgeous ladies.

Adjustments being made to walks during this 'too hot for doggies' time. Earlier slots with shaded spots & streams or home visits with frozen treats, frozen wet towels and my massive water pistol! 🔫

EDIT...also making sure my own daft Wilson doesn't sneak outside to sunbathe🙈

Oh Ziggy, you are adorable 🥰 I love getting to know new doggies. This one is the sweetest boy. He has such a gentle nature, so friendly, curious and playful. I know I say this a lot, but he's an absolute pleasure to walk. !

Always a treat when I get to take Milo out for daily walks.  He's been having a little holiday at his Nanny's house (another helpful Nan!) while his family abroad. Milo has been a great friend to my Wilson, they've had some smashing walks together.

Our regular Billy had a friend come to stay while their owners were out at a family wedding. Super cute Charlie was a wonderful addition to our walk. Adhoc extras are no problem at Nolan Dog Walking. In fact...we love them! ❤️

Ruby, my Wilson's first love and I reckon she will always be his best friend. She's fun, LOVES a tennis ball, jumps so high with excitement, very loving and the most gentle soul.

Oh Brie, how I've missed you. Beautiful Brie has a very occasional visit when her folks are out and about. It was a real treat to see her at home for some enrichment and a bucket load of fuss. Thankfully, it was much fresher out today. Oh gosh, it's been too hot for doggies lately.

Marlee and Mia know how to have fun. The fresher early morning air has been so lovely for them to burn off some of their youngsters energy. I can't believe I actually got a photo of then sat still! We also came across a deer 🦌. It was such a treat to watch it bounce through the long grass in front of us. Too fast for a photo!

SAFETY WARNING....and it's not about hot dogs! I have the pleasure of seeing lots of wildlife on my travels but I've never been upset by it until today. Tragically there are thousands of dead fish floating in our canal systems. Apparently the heat has caused low oxygen levels that the fish can't cope with. If you happen to walk by the Brandwood tunnel it's very sad indeed and obvious the water maybe dangerous, the smell is not nice. Be very careful if your dog likes to have a drink or swims in canals, it's very tempting for them in this heat. I'd keep them well away. So sad 😞

The heron however was very happy about it!
