Some of you may not know I’m also a
photographer. Since 2011 I specialised in both swimming and bereavement photography. I spent many years photographing children and babies both under and above water. Alongside this I worked voluntarily as a baby bereavement photographer after the loss of my own child, providing hundreds of family’s with the gift of memories.

Sorry I’ve been quiet, I caught covid, it took me out a lot harder than I expected given I have had 3 vaccines and was due the 4th last week.

I’m testing negative and finally all better minus the chesty cough that I can’t shift.

So I’m back to pet care this week as well as trying to work my way through a mountain of messages I haven’t been well enough to reply too.

Annoyingly I’ve recovered straight into a heatwave week…and for many dogs this heat poses a big danger when walking.

If I am due to come to you over the next week while the weather is how it currently is, we can chat about what you would like me to do. If that means letting doggos out for a quick toilet break and then me sitting with them indoors for the 30-60 minute walk slot I can do that. I can come with reward based games we can play indoors such as snuffle mats. It’s always better to miss a walk than risking heat stroke. 1 in 7 dogs who enter the vets with heatstroke don’t ever make it home again 💔 so please talk to me if you would like me to change this weeks plans.

If you have a elderly or disabled dog who needs some help getting about, I have a special dog buggy 🖤 I can take your doggo out to somewhere they enjoy and let them have a sit in the grass or small wonder around and then back into the buggy home again 🐕 🐾 🌱

Thought i should do a little introduction post 👋🏼

I’m new to the independent dog walking industry. Prior to this I worked as a care assistant at a large veterinary hospital.

All my life I’ve worked with either animals or children. I love doing both but animals is definitely where my heart is at.

I have three of my own dogs, Waffle, Louis and Jack. After looking for dog care and realising how difficult it is to find someone who I both trust and who could deal with their unusual needs (one in particular is paralysed) I decided I could provide this service to others.

So here I am.

I’m currently undertaking various courses as I go, including a dog behavioural course.

I don’t just work 9-5. In previous jobs I have done many nightshifts and realise it’s almost impossible to get someone to take my dogs out for a night walk before bed.

I’m fully insured and DBS checked.

Last week I had the pleasure of walking this big happy guy 🥰 We went on a two hour walk. His dad human needed someone last minute to walk him so he contacted me and asked for a next day dog walk.
I have currently got lots of space for regular walks but I can often fit in last minute requests for those times in life when something unexpected comes up 🥰
I’m fully insured but have lots of procedures in place to ensure each dog is carefully and safely looked after. I know my own dogs saftey is so important to me, just like my children I would never want to leave my dogs with anyone who hasn’t got my dogs saftey and happiness as a top priority 🖤
