Field update!
More light = more fun in the field 🐾
Summer hours are officially up and we’re now open 7 days per week 7am-8pm
Plenty of time to pop up for a session in the evening after work or after the kids have finished school to play in the field with your pooches!
Also … new equipment going up in the field soon 🙌 just a refresh of some older bits that needed to be replaced and some new fun things too!
Watch this space over the next few months!

FIELD HIRE NOTICE
Next week the field will be shut and no bookings taken as finally the ground is firm enough for us to do some field maintenance (hallelujah!)
Any bookings already booked won’t be affected and the field will still be available for use for those. We’ll do our maintenance around the those sessions.

Ooooooo it’s been a chilly one today ❄️ but that hasn’t stopped us one bit!
So what do we do differently on a cold day?
❄️ We left home a little earlier to take our time with pick ups this morning as we thought the road would be icy!
❄️ pooches have their jackets on if they fee the cold
❄️ we keep them all running around, honestly I look ridiculous to any member of the public who witnesses this I apologise 😂 but it encourages them all to keep warm and toasty
❄️ back at the van some like to wrapped up in a blanket whilst they travel and the heating is ON 🔥
Side note: thanks to all my amazing clients who let me make a quick cuppa when I’m collecting or dropping off their pooches so i can keep warm 💕

We highly recommend you check them out, the loveliest family and people run this and we’ve personally been going there for years for our Christmas tree 🎄
Farm shop is packed with all you could need to deck the halls this festive season.

Nigel Wallace Photography - Dog Photographer will be back at ours to do a day of indoor studio style CHRISTMAS themed photoshoots for pooches. It’ll be at the barn using a cool Christmas backdrop as well as props.
Date: Saturday 18th November
Slots are 30 minutes long
£20 in cash on the day for 2-3 digital images, more will be available to purchase should you want extra.
If you’re wanting to bring more than 3 dogs just have a chat with use before booking as you may need 2 slots to ensure Nigel has time to get enough photos of each pooch.
If you’d like to book one the slots are available to book just send me a quick message. First come first served ☺️

Safe to say he had a great first walk out with us this morning, he made lots of new friends & did some scentwork in his session too. It was like he’d always been out with us ☺️🐾

Emily “Colin can you bring my plant pot back please” Colin “ok……… ooooo Elvis….. LETS PLAYYYYYYYYYYYY” Thanks Colin 😂 reality of working with dogs! (We were doing scentwork with the plant pot in our session. Colin was an absolute pro and he paraded round with the pot afterwards) 🐾
Once upon a time… there was a dog called Lulu. A notoriously cheeky little orange terrier who thought the world was a very excitable place. So much so that she was very good at pretending she was deaf, running after everything that moved and not coming back. Fast forward to this 🙌 There was definitely a time when I didn’t believe this video to be possible. The genuine fear of letting her off & the very real possibility that she wouldn’t come back left me feeling very panicky, sweaty and a bit sick at the thought of the sticky situations she could get herself into. So when I say ‘I get it’ to when you tell me how stressed it makes you that your pooch won’t come back I’m not kidding, I really do get it. BUT … THERE IS LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL ☀️ Now let’s get real, this took a lot of hard work, consistency and patience but we got there with Lulu. Don’t get me wrong, last weekend we went to Nowton Park and she spent most of it on a long line lead going right back to basics. Now whilst I’m sure she would have come back it NEVER hurts to go back to the beginning and practice practice practice. Speedy girl being very well behaved and coming back to call even with all the distractions of the other dogs, pheasants flying all around the outside of the field and a tractor in the next field over 💥 what a superstar 🌟 Helping dogs find confidence off lead and a solid recall is what our Adventure Trek & Trail walks are all about, and of course the Bow Wow Adventure Playground. Happy Saturday guys! We’d love you to get involved with this one! We’re looking at setting up the calendar for 2022 (2022! Crazy right?! 😲) and we want to do some workshops involving local other dog professionals. IDEAS?! If you have anything you’d like to see here throughout 2022 let us know and we’ll do our best where possible to put something in place. Also Local Rescues, we want to really create a community around the Bow Wow Adventure Playground and we’d love to help out where we can. So if you know of any local rescues let us know about them.
