A little glimpse of some of some Friday afternoon fun we got up to up with Bruce & Jimmy 🐾 up at the field yesterday 💕
Ignore the level of concentration on my face 😂 but how cute are they?!
A lovely evening in the field with little Basil, enjoying lots of fun playtime but also all the evening shade after a very sunny day ☺️
Our shady area will go up with week so that there will always be a shady area in the field throughout the summer ☀️
Emily “Colin can you bring my plant pot back please”
Colin “ok……… ooooo Elvis….. LETS PLAYYYYYYYYYYYY”
Thanks Colin 😂 reality of working with dogs!
(We were doing scentwork with the plant pot in our session. Colin was an absolute pro and he paraded round with the pot afterwards) 🐾
Once upon a time… there was a dog called Lulu. A notoriously cheeky little orange terrier who thought the world was a very excitable place. So much so that she was very good at pretending she was deaf, running after everything that moved and not coming back.
Fast forward to this 🙌
There was definitely a time when I didn’t believe this video to be possible. The genuine fear of letting her off & the very real possibility that she wouldn’t come back left me feeling very panicky, sweaty and a bit sick at the thought of the sticky situations she could get herself into.
So when I say ‘I get it’ to when you tell me how stressed it makes you that your pooch won’t come back I’m not kidding, I really do get it.
BUT … THERE IS LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL ☀️
Now let’s get real, this took a lot of hard work, consistency and patience but we got there with Lulu. Don’t get me wrong, last weekend we went to Nowton Park and she spent most of it on a long line lead going right back to basics. Now whilst I’m sure she would have come back it NEVER hurts to go back to the beginning and practice practice practice. (It’s also good for me to fine tune my long line lead skills 👍😉)
Hit me up for recall training, workshops are coming to the field VERY soon.
