Please be carful with your dogs this weekend. Make sure they have plenty of water, somewhere cool to be and please avoid taking them out for a walk in the sun.

⚠️ A yellow heat-health alert has been issued by the Met Office from 12pm on Friday 27th June 2025 until 6pm on Tuesday 1st July 2025 in the West Midlands.

💥⬆️ This alert means that we can expect increasing temperatures and humidity. Keep an eye on anyone who is isolated, ill, vulnerable or very young and make sure they can keep cool too.

💧 It may be tempting to cool down in hot weather, but cold water shock kills and has hidden dangers that can trap even the strongest swimmers.

❌ Never swim in any form of open water, including lakes, pools, ponds, canals and rivers.
❌ Don't allow children to play near water without an adult present.

Please remember in this heat to keep your dog cool and inside with fans and aircon if possible.

The weather this week has been warm and it’s predicted to get warmer, so please do not take your dog out on a walk midday. If you want to take them a walk make sure it’s early morning or late evening, however if you have a garden they can go toilet in, this may be enough for them during this warm weather.

Dogs cannot cool down as easily as humans, so if you are warm, then your dog will definitely be warm

Basic obedience course, this can be attended by dogs of any age (but is often attended by young dogs). We focus on teaching you how to teach your dog the key basic commands and assist you with any issues you may be having with training.

Our Young dog play course is designed to support your basic obedience training through puppy obstacles and games, as well as it being a social course. During this course we work on getting your dog to greet other dogs in a manner you are happy with, while also teaching them to ignore other dogs when you ask.

Both courses are £60 each and can be attended individually or if you would like to sign up for both courses the cost is £110 for both.
