Babies' prerogative to play with their dinner!

Springline Sanna Bay (to make 16.2, eventing type with a combination of top showjumping lines from her sire and top dressage lines from her dam) and Springline Loki (to make a competitive junior rider's event horse, 14.2-15hh, with a 3* event pony stallion sire and the only stallion to win both the 4 year old and 5 year old Dubarry Burghley Young Event Horse final as his grand sire.)

Our two 2024 foals...

The bay filly (4th and 5th video clips) was born in July, by Chaccomo Agostini (Chacco Blue) and out of a 1st premium Oldenburg mare (Sunny Boy x Rubinstein) she offers some of the best of both dressage and jumping lines. She will be passported with AES. To make 16.2hh.

Loki, the grey c**t (1st to 3rd video clips) was born in May, by 3* event pony stallion, Prometheus SPSS Elite Pony Stallion and out of a Billy Be Cool x Chacoa ISH mare. To make 14.2-15hh.
He is passported with SPSS and I think is real stallion potential with both AES and SPSS as well as having the breeding suggesting a strong eventing career; I'm happy to retain him but putting him out there in case anyone wants to twist my arm!

Two bright bay fillies (2yr old) and grey yearling gelding in Lincolnshire.
The dark bay sneaking into the photos as height reference is 17.2hh.

Filly with the white face is by Chaccomo Agostini (Chacco Blue) and out of an ID mare.
Filly with white star is by NPS Supernova out of a full show jumping dam line.
Grey gelding yearling is by Jacondrik and out of an ISH mare.

All passported, vaccinated, wormed and regularly see farrier. Brave friendly characters who have lived in a mixed herd since weaning. All have travelled a short journey on a 7.5t.

2yr filly with comprehensive jumping lines from both dam and sire.
To make 16.2hh+
Sweet girl, easy to handle and quick to learn.
Left to mature in a small mixed herd since weaning. Up to date with farrier, worming and vaccinations (first annual booster after the 3x start-up vaccinations is tomorrow).
Missing a baby incisor so third incisor is at an angle across the gap and may need removing to allow adult incisor to erupt correctly. Jaw x-rayed at the time of incident with no damage other than the loss of tooth.
Carrots reflect this at the moment though won't be the case forever as I'm sure we'll have the teeth rectified very soon and some straight shiny adult ones instead before her next photo shoot to go on here.

By Chaccomo Agostini (third photo, Chacco Blue x Accord II) from Hill Valley Stud Farm

An exciting combination of top showjumping and dressage lines to make for an event prospect or the flashiest all-rounder!

As yet unnamed and available for reservation until weaning in spring 2025... Can be named by her new human if reserved promptly (before passport is applied for).
Will be passported with AES.

Can negotiate a weaning date between March and May and living on with our youngsters on a livery basis until a later date can be negotiated if required.

Today's news 🗞️

We have finally finished scans for next year's foals after a much less than straightforward season of AI, with thanks to Hill Valley Stud Farm and Thornton Wright Equine Vets for their input.

Also, the long awaited mare, Al Ciona (video clip of her relaxing after her long drive), has arrived from Holland this morning, who has very kindly been put in foal by her previous owner with communication and hard work since early this year.

As a result, we are expecting the following foals in 2025, subject to a favorable wind and no problems en route...

- Shuffle (Search for Royalty x Filice de Champeix x Voltaire) is in foal to Future Gravitas from Future Sport Horses to bring an event foal with plenty of TB blood

- Maj (Kentucky van't Ruytershof x Baloubet du Rouet) is in foal to Gateridge Kelso - Licensed Suffolk Stallion with the aim of creating a heavier build competitive all rounder

- Tarn (Chacoa x Glidawn Diamond x Ice Breaker) is carrying an exciting grey event foal by Future Guilty Pleasure

- Al Ciona (Alahrat x Keiki) is in foal to Dahilly (Damask x Meksika), which we hope to be our first pure bred Akhalteke foal of many in the years to come.

Now to cross all available fingers and wait for 2025!

Springline Moneypenny (Roo) : based in Lincolnshire.

2yr old (born April 2022) by Chaccomo Agostini (Chacco Blue x Accord II) who boats a successful show jumping career up to 1m 50.
Out of a predominantly ID mare.

Will make a solidly built, athletic sport horse.

Brave and bold nature.

Travelled loose as a foal and once over a short distance tied up and with partition.

Had start up course of vaccinations with her first yearly booster given in May this year.

Full vet history can be provided with all routine visits other than a corneal ulcer as a foal, we assume from long grass, which healed quickly and has given no further issues.

Huge thanks for a massive urgent effort scrambling to AI with a scan confirming all systems go at 3pm.
Gateridge Kelso - Licensed Suffolk Stallion collected 120 miles away from us and kindly met me half way to get a 9.30pm(!!!) AI from Rowan at Thornton Wright Equine Vets

Now just to cross fingers and see if we have a baby part bred Suffolk cooking for next year!!
