Dogs & Dales is a dog walking service based in Ripon, offering our services locally and to the surrounding areas. I have well over thirty years dog handling experience, and was a police officer in the Metropolitan Police Service for 10 years. We only home board dogs we walk and have a relationship with - please give us a call, email or visit our website for more information.

Walk no 4 (can justify a Chinese tonight I’m thinking). On private land so we know we will meet no one. ASBO did his usual solo walk. We entered the secure area from the disused railway way line. When I looked back ASBO was actually waiting at the other side of the gate to be let in ! He is playing with my mind!

Day kicked off at Southacres. Took a thermal cup of boiling water to defrost the padlock. The cold temperatures are making the pups giddy. A joy to watch.

All about the boom balls! Chip who herds by nature has the skill to dribble the ball close to me no matter where I am in DogZone! Teal the Labrador is very passionate about the ball ! He shouts at the ball in frustration. Like I said ‘less noise & try harder!’

First walk was -5. No video as my gloves were on and hands firmly in my pockets 🤷‍♀️
Second walk Jess & Kay were desperate to meet Tilly so we gatecrashed DogZone so they could have a cuddle.
Tilly already is building in confidence copying the other 🐶 dogs ❤️

Kennel cough is back in & around Ripon/Thirsk and surrounding areas. Please ensure your dog is vaccinated and any signs keep them off. Vaccinated doesn’t mean they can not catch it. Doggy Covid!

Roxy can’t do group walks or go off lead in public places were another dog may run up to her. Taking her to the disused railway line knowing we would meet no one was amazing. Roxy smiled for the whole walk! #privateland

Can not beat renting private land to walk the pups. They absolutely love our playground where they can play in a stress free environment ❤️
