I'm ever so sorry that I have to post this but unfortunately I'm unable to carry on my business, the reason for this is that I'm doing my dream job as training to be a vet nurse. So sorry for everyone that needed my help looking after your wonderful pets.

It has been a very difficult few days mentally and emotionally. For those who know will know the sadness we have all gone though at Hallgarth yard, the loss of a dear friend partner in crime and a great equestrian lady that has taught me so much over the years. 💔
Today my extended family at the yard said thank you when no thanks were needed. I would do it all over again. I love you all so very much ❤
RIP Margaret Green you will be missed by so many ❣

This is the life. I love my job and most of all seeing the foals grow.

Working as a yard hand isn't for the faint hearted dont get me wrong it's hard graft blood sweat and tears with mud up to my eyeballs most days.

Today I had the privilege of bringing in the yearling ready for the farrier. No day is ever the same. You never know what's going to happen so working with young horses you always have to be ready for what's to come.

It's been a great day back working and doing what I love best.

Today was me first day back to work after lockdown began. I met a beautiful foul and her mum this morning at my new place of work. Then went on to see all the long term horse and ponies at the yard very close to my heart.

This evening I met Jo The Equine Advisor for my younges first saddle measurements and fitting. It is always good to have someone else check your house over and put in their input. Just by Jo coming today I learnt something new. This is the great thing about the equine word. No matter how much you think you know you will never stop learning something new.
