Hot weather!!

Please note I am shut now until Wednesday due to the heat.

Over the next few days remember not to walk your dogs until it’s completely cooled down, missing a few walks when it’s this hot doesn’t do any harm and prevents them from being at risk of getting heat stroke or burning their pads☀️

To keep them active you can try scatter feeding in gardens, Licki mats if you have them or even freezing some fruit in ice blocks for a nice cool treat!

Dear Customers,

Over the next few weeks all appointments will be monitored with the high temperatures, Please expect cancellations and for appointments to be rearranged if I deem the temperature to be to high for the appointment to go ahead,

As you can imagine a grooming environment can be hot even on a cool day due to continued use of dryers etc,

Every dog’s health is main priority and heat stroke can be fatal so please bare with over the next few weeks as it gets hotter!

Emmi pet teeth cleaning!

You may be wondering what the difference is between this and a good old fashioned toothbrush.

Emmi Pet is an ultrasonic toothbrush which is sound and vibration free meaning it’s soft and gentle for your pup, making the process of teeth cleaning stress free.

This is one of our lovely clients modelling a before and after, after coming in for his first session.

It will take a few more regular sessions to brighten up those back ones but a great start ! 🪥🦷

Charlie the cocker spaniel was a nervous little man when he first came to me, so much so I couldn’t get near him with a brush, after just 3 sessions with me I managed his first full groom!

This is him looking very handsome and proud ! 🐾❤️

Charlie is a regular client who visits every 6 weeks, he was hand scissored shorter all over so he could keep cool now the days are getting a little warmer ! ❤️

Charlie came in today, a very sweet boy with a lot of nerves around grooming! We started off with some slow brushing and floor work and will continue to work in frequent sessions until he is comfortable ❤️
Sometimes we can’t achieve much during a groom but ensuring the dog is happy and feels safe with me is number one priority 🐾

This is the lovely little Daisy, as a rescue pup she was a little bit nervous but we tried some floorwork so she didn’t feel restricted and after a lot of patience and treats we managed to give her a bath and blow dry,

As a groomer, I pride myself on showing care and compassion and adapting to any dogs needs to help them overcome difficulties❤️
