REHOMING REQUEST

One of my friends elderly clients is in a home at the moment and is going to be there for next 4 weeks but it may be permanent .

She has an elderly Border Terrier X and Tabby cat. Both are being fostered.

The dog is lovely and friendly with everything and everyone, just a bit overweight. The cat not so much on friendly side. They don't need to go together.

Coastal parking restrictions to help enforce rules on social distancing.

The message for all our residents is the same as across the country – stay at home, protect the NHS, save lives.

To help get that message across, starting tomorrow, we are closing nine of our car parks along the coast to support social distancing and discourage people from making non-essential journeys.

We appreciate that our coastal car parks are extremely popular with people who enjoy our award-winning coastline, but this is an essential step to ensure appropriate social distancing and slow down the spread of the virus.

These measures are in everyone’s best interests and will ultimately help to save lives.

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE BROUGHT FOOD IT IS A GREAT HELP. PLEASE KEEP DONATING IT IS FOR A GREAT CAUSE

We are collecting food for collection next Wednesday so if anyone would like to help by donating some food please inbox me so I can let you know where to drop off.

There are over 1000 likes on this page and if everyone donated 1 tin or packet that's a lot of food.

They also take the usual donations of beds towels etc.

Thank you to all who have donated so far. You don't need to own a dog to help out just pop a tin or two in your trolley.

DAYCARE AND BOARDING SPACES AVAILABLE

We have daycare and boarding spaces available. If you are planning to get away for your holidays we have some spaces available subject to conditions and a pre visit.

Boarding is in the comfort of our family home where your dogs will be treat as part of our family and enjoy some lovely walks too.

We have a 3 year 5 star licence with North Tyneside Council to board dogs.

Sam's Dog Boarding & Pet Services of Whitley Bay have been established since 2008.

We have daycare spaces immediately available subject to a pre visit and have places available for holidays too.

We are all licensed by the Local Authority.

BOOK EARLY - don't miss out. Try not leave booking a place last minute although ask if you do and we will try and accommodate where possible. If you want to provisionally book a place we can hold this until we get another firm booking where we will come to you first to confirm.

Please note we cannot take in dogs under 6 months old and all dogs must be castrated/spayed. Dogs must be good with other dogs and be up to date with their vaccinations to include kennel cough and flea treatment.

Keep watching this album we will be adding to it all of the time. This is what boarding is all about home from home comfort. Dog day care and dog boarding available together with overnight stays so you can enjoy a day out, party night or a holiday.

We treat your dog like our own, join in with family time and walks.

If you live on the Wellfield Estate we can offer dog walking/ad hoc dog walking subject to availability.
