Dave is a medium sized dog Lab x pointer, very sweet natured affectionate playful boy that genuinely wants to please.

Dave is in foster in Hemel Hempstead. This is what his foster says about him 🥰

“In 3 days he is now off the lead with good recall, he won’t go far before checking back in and walking along side me, happily jumping in the car to go for adventures. Out on walks we have crossed people and other dogs very calmly and quietly and he is happily living in a home of 6 dogs and a cat.

He walks well on the lead and is crate trained although sleeps out the crate in a room downstairs and is clean and quiet.”

In foster in Hemel Hempstead Hertfordshire with a dog walker and boarder so meeting new dogs everyday.

Who remembers Sofia? The dog who had puppies in the car park of a Taxi company and the nextdoor farmer was claiming she was eating his chickens so he would shoot her?

Well Sofia and her puppies are at the amazing Dog Valley Rescue Center and they are doing well. Here are a couple of the cheeky puppies 🥰

We get many messages asking us to help dogs. In an ideal world we’d be able to help them all… well actually in an ideal world we wouldn’t need to help any dogs 😩 but we are only a tiny rescue with limited kennel space or funds 😔

Last week we had a message to ask if we could help a stray dog that had been in foster care. The foster had taken the dog to the Pound because the family had 2 dogs of their own and children and they just couldn’t care for her.

We just couldn’t cope with the thought of her going to the Pound after being in a home. So we agreed to collect the dog and expected a well-cared for dog if she’d been in a foster home.

What we actually collected was a bag of bones and additionally she was in season. She is just 12kg and is 3 years old. If that dog was in foster I would like to personally shoot the foster mum. She looks like she has been months on the streets!!!

However disappointed we were with the condition of this dog we don’t regret helping her at all. She is beautiful and we love her. She will get the best care. She has been called Marlen and when she is ready a lucky family will adopt her and give her an amazing home
