**New CCAB Announcement**
Please join us in congratulating Sarah Lowery on achieving her CCAB accreditation for dogs 🥳🐾

Achieving CCAB accreditation is such an important milestone for me and am so proud to be awarded my certification in dogs. Referring to a Certified Clinical Animal Behaviourist was my gold standard for behavioural patients throughout my 12 years as a vet in general practice, and I have strived to keep up these standards since setting up my own dog and cat veterinary behaviour practice in Norfolk four years ago. I know there is a great desire from vets and caregivers to know where to find qualified behaviourists they can trust. The ASAB is doing such an important job in providing this and I am incredibly excited to be part of it. Thank you!

**New Pre-Certification Announcement!**

Please join us in congratulation Dr Sarah Lowery on receiving the first Pre-Cert of 2021! 🥳

I am incredibly proud to achieve my pre-certification to become a Clinical Animal Behaviourist. I am a vet who has been in small animal practice for over fourteen years. Over this time, I have witnessed how important it is, but also how difficult it can be, for pet owners and vets to seek the advice of properly qualified behaviourists. I believe CCAB certification is driving the profession in a really positive direction and one I am excited about being part of.

Three years ago, I set up the Pet Behaviour Practice Ltd. www.petbehaviourpractice.co.uk to provide focused veterinary behaviour care to dogs and cats in East Anglia and indulge my passion for behavioural medicine. Since achieving a distinction in my MSc in Clinical Animal Behaviour at Lincoln University in 2020, I am looking forward to taking the next step working towards my CCAB and being part of this community."

teaching your dog to relax on cue is useful for many issues. Here I start from the basics and move through the stages training your dog to relax around territorial triggers

Taking your dog for twice daily walks, for a total of an hour, could become compulsory from next year.

I use this training a lot for dogs who are reactive to handling or are fearful at the vets. But I love using it for any dog ....every dog deserves choice and control about being handled. Here’s my dog Summer having her year 1 vaccine yesterday

Covid Update: We are now able to carry out home visits again. These will be a little different for a while to adhere to strict social distancing guidelines. Before the consultation you will be triaged by phone to discuss if this is possible and discuss how we can optimise safety. Where possible we will conducted the consultation outside. Face coverings will be worn (we can provide these if necessary). We can't be hands-on with your pet as we normally would but be assured we will talk you through the behavioural modification process in detail.
