Our mission to create stress-free grooming came from listening to a talk at a seminar and then looking at the way we were being taught how to groom seeing too many pets overwhelmed by traditional approaches. 💔 We knew there had to be a better way.

Hi, I'm Allison, the person behind The Stress Free Groomer, and I'm thrilled to share my journey with you. An unexpected accident made me rethink my path and led me from administration to pursue a career around my love for dogs. 🐶❤️

It was a seminar I attended years ago that truly transformed my view on grooming. It opened my eyes to how dogs could perceive and experience the grooming process, and I was inspired to improve that experience for both pets and their owners. This revelation was a turning point in my career, leading me to embrace a new, compassionate approach.

This year is all about empowerment through gentle and stress-free grooming. I'm here to share tips, stories, and insights to help make grooming a joyful experience for you and your furry friends.

Sneaky peak - so while everyone is getting ready for Christmas 🎄 I'm still busy working looking after dogs, giving make overs, trimming nails and then when that is done, there's still the paperwork to do when I get back.

Hi everyone, I’m Allison 👋 and I thought it was time to reintroduce myself!

I’m the owner of The Stress Free Groomer, where I take extra special care of all those dogs that visit with me at the salon or i visit with at their home to give a calm styling session to.

I started my business because of a talk I heard at a seminar whilst I was still training, about how a dog feels about the whole grooming experience and I wanted it to be something not for them to worry about, so I wanted to do things differently, so The Stress Free Groomer was born.

Something fun about me: I love Christmas! 🎅 and a Christmas Carol, so it was great to go and enjoy The Great Christmas feast, a mix of A Christmas Carol and threee course meal well worth the visit.

My December grooming appointments are all filled. And on top of that I'm pet sitting for the next couple of weeks, so trying to take festive photos of the dogs is high on my list.
