Welcome, Ivy! 🐾

Today, Ivy had her first visit with us at the Stress-Free Groomer, and what a lovely session it was! Our orientation is all about gently introducing new pups to the grooming experience. This includes a warm welcome, one-on-one time to help Ivy feel at ease, and a gradual introduction to the sights and sounds of grooming.

Every dog has unique needs, so during this 30-minute orientation, we take the time to Listen, Evaluate, Adapt, and Progress (our LEAP framework) to help them feel comfortable at their own pace. Ivy got to explore the grooming table, receive plenty of positive reinforcement, and, most importantly, learn that grooming can be a calm and positive experience.

By starting with this gentle approach, we're laying a foundation for a lifetime of stress-free grooming. If you’re looking to introduce your pup to a calm, compassionate grooming experience, reach out—we’d love to welcome you and your dog to the Stress-Free Groomer family!

Every one is over there expecting their dog to look perfect when they come out of the groomers, but then their are others who are just super happy when you have made some progress!
Wouldn't you rather have a happy dog who is comfortable with what is being done with them or do you just expect them to get on with it?........

🌞 Keep Your Dogs Safe in the Heat! 🌞

With temperatures expected to reach 31°C on Monday, it’s essential to take extra precautions to keep our dogs cool and comfortable. Hot weather can be dangerous for them, leading to heatstroke, dehydration, and burned paw pads.

Here are a few tips to help your dog stay safe:

Walk early or late: The pavement can get extremely hot during the day, so try to walk your dog early in the morning or later in the evening when it’s cooler.

Provide plenty of water: Make sure your dog has access to fresh, cool water at all times.

Seek shade: If your dog is spending time outside, ensure there’s a shaded area where they can escape the sun.

Never leave them in a car: Even with the windows open, cars can heat up quickly, becoming life-threatening in just minutes.

Let’s all make sure our dogs stay safe and happy during this hot spell. If you have any concerns about your dog’s well-being in the heat, feel free to get in touch with us for advice.

This may affect some of you that visit the salon at Stowlangtoft, please be aware that the road will be closed between Stowlangtoft and Ixworth while the bridge is repaired.

Work is scheduled to start 22nd July to Dec 2024.

Works to replace the bridge along A1088 Bridge Farm Bridge, Stowlangtoft are programmed to commence on Monday 22 July 2024 and will continue until Friday 20 December 2024. During this time, the road will be closed to ensure the safety of highway users and our operatives.
