So as we announced we have two new horses we thought we would let you know the process we takewhen new horses arrive.
🐴 First horses are isolated for infection prevention for 2 weeks no contact with other horses.
🐴 Horses are then kitted out with saddle and bridle.
🐴 Horses will then go though a riding program to make sure they suitable for customers and we challenge them in different ways to test the reactions.
🐴 Horses are ridden by staff on the flat, jump and hacking, we also groom them, pick feet out.
🐴 Horses will start to be ridden in group lessons by staff and group hacks to test how they react with bigger groups and other horses.
🐴 once this has all be completed and we are satisfied horses are safe to be introduced into the school only then will they start being ridden by customers.
This seems like a long process but gives the horses time to settle into a new environment and chance for staff to learn more about the horses.
You will see in the video below us hacking out the horses making them go separate ways teaching them to leave other horses and still remain relaxed. 🐴

Would like to say good luck to all our customers who are leaving us to take on the uni life we wish you all the best and hopefully you come and visit.
Special good luck to Leah who is in the video below she has been riding with us since the age of 7 enjoy your time at uni. 🏵🐴
