Little, man Yogi getting to meet new friends. He’s still undergoing assessment but is proving super, friendly and playful. See how he is much calmer around the 2 older dogs than when he plays with the other young boys individually.
Hope & Harvey letting of some steam together but still listening to us and recalling when we ask. Harvey is faster and bigger and plays the role of the 🦌 and Hope is smaller and slower and plays the role of the 🐺 but she makes up for it by being double feisty😈 two cheeky little stubby tails 🥰

Who remembers the terrible story of poor Deedee? At 8yrs old she was given up to us as she was now too old to breed from and no use to her owner. She had been kept in the garden her whole life and had never been anywhere or seen anything of the world and was very distressed . She arrived in our care with a fully ruptured cruciate ligament and meniscus tear which could have been that way for some time. It needed costly surgery to repair and then lengthy physiotherapy & hydrotherapy to rehab her. Within 6months she tore the other side (which often happens) & needed another surgery to repair it along with the lengthy rehab. All whilst she was living with our trainer trying to help her overcome her anxiety of things in the world. We never thought we would never be able to rehome her and thought no one would dream of taking her on with her behaviour and physical issues.
Then along came the most wonderful family wanting to give her the best life she had always deserved. They have fulfilled their promise & whilst Deedee’s behaviour continues to be very challenging they are doing everything they can to give her the best life. A beach trip was on the bucket list. Look how much she loves it.
As she had pre existing conditions we do continue to pay for Deedee’s veterinary and physio treatments. As she ages she continues to need extra help and regularly has physiotherapy massages whilst her family perform stretches & strength exercises on a daily basis.
If you can spare anything towards continuing to help this gorgeous girl we will greatly appreciate it
Ralph is now with our trainer. He arrived 2 days ago and is such a loving , affectionate boy. He does have to shed quite few pounds so is now on a strict diet and exercise regime to get that bikini body in time for summer !💪
He had never been off lead previously but is already proving to be a fast learner and doesn’t really want to be far away from you.
He is a little defensive on first meeting with dogs and then ignores them but he has had a stressful few days moving out of his home so we are allowing him to time settle in before socialising him further. He is happy in his crate with other dogs around him.
If you are interested in him please fill in an adoption form.

Christmas Walk 2021
@canineinstincts held a Christmas walk in aid of our charity. They raised nearly £400 and lots of fun was had by all. Many of the boxers were boxers we had rehomed over the years and it was fantastic to see how they’re owners had persevered with various behavioural problems and worked on them so that they and their boxer can enjoy walks like this.
Frank in the tank!
16month old Frank had his 2nd session in the underwater treadmill yesterday and left for his new home today. His new family have been undergoing training with him to learn how to help this big strong boy. He has ocd lesions in his shoulders which means there are tears in the cartilage and although only a baby he already has arthritis in them. The rehab is to build muscles around his shoulders and hind quarters to protect his shoulder joints and to help ease any pain he gets.
Boxer rescue will be funding hydro, physio & veterinary fees related to his shoulders for life so if you can donate to his ongoing rehab please do, every little helps.
