My training classes are informal, fun and packed with information to help puppies and dogs live in the human world with happy dog guardians. on ensuring your dog is happy, comfortable and in an envrionment which will promote learning. I wish for dogs to grow to be confident in our world. A confident and happy dog offers behaviours we like and this is the foundation of great relationship beteween dog and human.

This gorgeous girl , Meg came for a bath and de-shed. As. Romanian rescue She is in Foster care. She needs a quiet home preferably with retired person who can give her all the love and attention she needs. Do getting contacted if anyone is interested in being her new parent 🥰

I am excited to announce I now offer Teeth Cleaning. 😁

I have been sceptical for a while of teeth cleaning during a groom as this can be very uncomfortable for the dog and could be distressing. However I have done much research into products and have found an ultrasonic teeth cleaner that is silent and does not vibrate. So you dog will be comfortable having teeth cleaned. I will of course help your dog slowly become fully comfortable with this process.

The ultrasonic cleaner will gently remove plaque and bacteria and keep those pearly whites strong and healthy. It is advised that dogs have this service with each groom to gently remove tarter build up and prevent gum disease.

I must highlight that this is not suitable for dogs with existing gum disease, broken teeth or severe tarter build-up. I will assess each dog before ultrasonic treatment and advise if the dog needs to be assessed by a vet.

However this product has great reviews and I am confident this service will be greatly benefit your dogs oral health.

Each dog will have his/her own toothbrush head at a charge of £8 for dog mums and dads to keep safe for the next groom.

Each treatment will be at a cost of just £10. Please let me know when booking each groom if you wish to receive this service as I will need to add time on to the groom 😁

It's been a sad few weeks. Quite a few of my regular dog have gone over Rainbow Bridge. 😔. have groomed these lovely dogs for the last few years and I can't believe they have all passed so soon in a short space of time.
Thoughts with the families of, Blaze, Riley, Murphy, Seth and Hope. ❤️

Dog Groomer and Dog training graduate from Victoria Stilwell Academy

Hi, my name is Suzanne and I have been Dog grooming for 3 years. I have been a registered nurse for around 15 years and still work the occasional nursing shift. A few years ago when my daugther began university I completed a full time dog grooming course so I could begin my own business. I love grooming and I have been grooming in the North East as a mobile groomer for the last 2 years as ‘Suzies Soapy Mutts’ with my partner, Lisa who has been running ‘Soapy Mutts’ for the last 20 years. Lisa is amazing and I have learnt so much from her. Lisa is soon to be working also in Canine Behaviour and Massage. ( look out for ‘The Complete Canine - UK’, soon to launch on Facebook.

I wished to further my knowledge in caring for dogs so after attending a dog training conference hosted Victoria Stilwell (you may know her from TV in UK and USA) I enrolled onto her dog training course and had the honour of being personally taught by Victoria along with other dog trianing experts.

Now I wish to combine dog grooming and offer dog training too. So I have now become ‘Superstar Dogs’ Perfect groom and perfect behaviour - well as close to ‘Pawfect’ as we can. As I continue to groom you be assured that I have extra knowledge and experience in assuring your dog is happy and comfortable in my care. I am fully insured and have a certifiate in Dog First Aid.
