As my brain is always ticking and trying to think of ways to generate an income.....if I was to get a shepherds hut..... Who would fancy waking up to glorious sunrises and even more beautiful sunsets. This picture was taken last night from my proposed location ❤️

We are officially open for the 2025 season. We are open Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 11am-4pm and only £5 per person (5yrs and over)

Yesterday, we fixed the sheep's field shelter, washed out the water troughs and Sam bedded them down. We then moved Lazzy and Tallulah back into their summer paddock ❤️

After concreting the play equipment in on Saturday afternoon, I left it a few days to set and then Sam, myself and Taylor filled the rest with soil (soil was collected by Sam and Rocco on Friday by collecting some of the mole hills around the site). We then tapped it down, lightly raked it and grass seeded it. Also grass seeded the bank while we were at it too. Another job done ❤️

Now u see it, now u don't. Yesterday I went down and took the whole line of fence down. A liitle had blown down in the wind, but the whole lot was rotten, so I thought I'd take it all down. Now to move all the timber out of the centre.....I'm thinking trailer maybe easier than a wheelbarrow 😂

First thing yesterday morning I went and drilled holes in our new picnic area posts, threaded the rope through, screwed the rope in place and then tied the ends. Another job ticked off my never ending list ❤️

Yesterday afternoon we started concreting the play equipment back in place while Syd was running over the rough areas with the mower ❤️

When Brooke came down to see me when I was working round the lake on Tuesday, she noticed a Greylag Goose on the first lake. She then thought it might of been one of hers from the waterfowl lake. After checking, she rang to say, her two are still on the lake but there is another one on the waterfowl lake as well. So we now have two extra onsite. One on the waterfowl lake and one on the first lake ❤️

Our new little picnic area around the lake is coming on a treat. Posts were delivered yesterday by Cornwall Countryside Supplies Ltd, so, yesterday morning I took the post rammer down and got each of the posts 18" in the ground. All that's left to do is drill the holes and get some rope 😊...... And get a couple of picnic benches ❤️

On Saturday afternoon, after we closed Atlantic Play Barn for the day, Syd (my youngest at 12yrs old) and I went and moved 12 railway sleepers (one at a time) from down at the barn, up to the top carpark.
I'm after building a planter...... It's coming on slowly. Just got another 12 sleepers to go..... Hopefully u can see it taking shape slowly. It won't be perfect, but I'll be happy that once again 'us girls' got another job done 👌
