I love nothing more than to give your cat/s the love and affection it needs while you're out of town Each pen has its own sheltered spacious outdoor run.

Each pen has its own insulated sleeping area which is heated with a heat lamp and this is thermostatically controlled. We do supply bedding however we do encouraged owners to bring their cats favourite bedding and toys as this helps them to settle in. We offer top quality wet and dry food and fresh water is always available. However you are more than welcome to supply your own food for those who h

ave specific dietary requirements. All medicines can be administered with a charge £1 per day

Please note we are closed for taking cats in on the 25th and 26th December and 1st and 2nd January. Prices:
£11.50 per day for 1 cat
£22 for 2 cats sharing the same pen from the same family per day
for 3 cats please contact me. Directions:
• From the A92 North:
Head out of Aberdeen onto the A92 (signposted Dundee/Perth)
Stay on the A92 passing Portlethen and Newtonhill
Take the next right (signposted Cookney)
Carry on this road for 2 miles and AA Cattery is located on the right hand side

• From the A92 South:
Head out of Stonehaven onto the A92 (signposted Aberdeen)
Stay on the A92 passing Bridge of Muchalls
Then take the next left (signposted Cookney)
Carry on this road for 2 miles and AA Cattery is located on the right hand side

From Banchory head onto the Netherley Road. Follow the road and go over the narrow bridge which flashes slow down. Carry on this road till you see sign for Cookney. Turn left here. Take the next left and follow this road up the hill and down the other end. Go over the new bridge (by pass bridge) and take next right. Follow road down and AA Cattery is on the left hand side.

“What greater gift than the love of a cat”

There are few things harder than having to say goodbye to a deeply loved cat. Our furry felines become loved family members, and whether their passing is expected or sudden, it always leaves a gaping hole in your heart.

Over the last 19 years many of you had met and patted my oldest cat Simba.

Sadly, I had to say good bye to him this morning. RIP Simba, say hi to your brothers Smudge, Sumo and your sister Sushi for me.

I can not believe we are just away to come into November and Christmas is just around the corner. Talking of Christmas and New Year I am now fully booked up however if you wish to be on my waiting list in case I get a cancellation, please do contact me with your dates.

I have had a few people asking when is my busiest times that get booked up very quickly (months in advance) So I thought I would do a list of some dates for you so hopefully you can plan ahead and book in advance to guarantee a space for your furbaby. x 🐾🐾

23rd March to 15th April 24
5th July to end of August 24
11th October to end of October 24
20th December to 5th Jan 25

Time to relax myself - Cattery will be closed from 21st April to 2nd May 24. x

'Elsa'
I am helping one of my customers who recently moved to Aberdeen from Oman with her own three beautiful cats.

Elsa turned up on my customers doorstep in a bad way, so she decided to take her to the vets to get her help. My customer fell in love with her and promised her she would find that forever loving home for her. Unfortunately, after trying her with her own cats, sadly one of her own cats didn’t make friends with her and they had to put her to a rescue centre until they were in a position to bring her over to Scotland.

Please consider coming to meet Elsa, she has recently been flown over from Oman and is boarding with me till she finds a new home.

Elsa is 1 years old, Domestic black short hair and is neutered, micro chipped, fully vaccinated and health checked.

She is a very affectionate, playful girl and best suited to a household that has plenty time for receiving her cuddles. A retired family or a family with older children would be lovely for her. She is a chatty girl so she would like someone that can understand her chattiness. Even though she has lived with other cats and would be okay with them, I'm sure she would also be happy being the only cat in the household. We are not sure about living with dogs as she has never had contact with them. She would need to slowly be introduced to our cold weather so keeping her warm at the moment is essential.

All possible homes will be checked out to help ensure that you are the right match for Elsa.

Just to let you know I only have a few dates available for October holidays. If you think its mad I thinking about October in August then you going to think I'm mad thinking about Christmas. However spaces are filling up for Christmas.

One of my customers had a big birthday this week and I thought I would send them hugs and kisses from their cats they were missing. I love that Tom meowed just at the right cue x 🐾

Love the way Indy is so gentle when taking his treats.

I always say to my furbabies owners if your cat has favourite things do bring them along. I love seeing what they are. Willow comes with her pillow but not to lie on top oh no the pillow to be a certain way so she can crawl inside. Soo cute had to share this with you. Love my time with this Lady. She loves nothing better than a cuddle and being carried around like a baby.

Toby

Meet Toby such a lovely cat as you can see from the video. I loved my play and cuddle time with him. Another rescue story, he was adopted from Cats Protection and its so nice to hear these cats getting their forever loving homes via rescue places. His new family are so lucky to have this happy, contented chap who now shares his home with a dog. They were expecting him to hide for a couple of days but within 2 hours he was up on a lap giving loud purrs and saying hello. The dog took a little while longer but only 2 days. I have been a volunteer for over 12 years for Stonehaven Cats Protection and just love hearing your stories as Cats Protection has a special place in my heart.

Meet Henry my new collection tin for Stonehaven Cats Protection. (He meows and purrs so cute) Last amount raised was £50 thank you to all my customers that put pennies into it.

Simba and Sumo

Came across this lovely video of my Simba and Sumo best of buds when they were younger. Now Sumo (white coloured Siamese cat) is the boss of everyone. Soo cute.

The ultimate purring machine. Never heard anything like it before so cute.

Storm

Looking after a friends little one how cute is he, everything is a toy to him even my legs. He has come to join me in the office today.

ok first of all excuse the mess of the house. Was looking at some pics and videos and came across this one and just had to share with you all. This is my Sumo playing fetch like a dog.

Blue, Squeaky and Jasper waiting patiently for their tea last night. OMG do I sound like that or I just speaking to them like babies.

Bonnie on her holidays and is having fun with her catnip toy.

Hunter just doesn't stop purring. Love my cuddle time with him.

Just waiting on mummy to pick me up so little play time with new toy at the cattery. Well done Bobby didn't take you long to start playing with it.

Sitting in my office today catching up on paperwork and heard a funny noise all of a sudden. About 100 birds have come to say hi. Even my cats can't climb that high.
