The girls are home!

Tic had got herself in state as to be expected and had drooled all over herself so she is resting on a puppy mat in her crate.
Flea was determined to chew her new hair do in to a better comb over so she has her little body suit on which just shows the extra half a kilo or so that she is carrying even more so strict diet for this young lady.
As always, amazing care from the team at Riverside Vets Canvey. It is so reassuring to have vets and vet nurses that you trust implicitly
Now the stress really begins but so does their recovery and though Flea always sailed through her seasons, Tic was even more weird than normal so hopefully she will feel more settled without a hormonal roller coaster to ride.

Today Flea and Tic are being speyed.
I am a nervous wreck and not for fear of the surgery, I trust that the amazing team Riverside Vets Canvey will give them the best, I am stressing about the recovery!

My dogs truly are feral, if you have met them you know I am not exaggerating. Why walk when you can jump? Why jump when you can backflip? This is life with the ferals.
Now I can get calming supplements for them but I think it’s going to be me that needs them more.

We had fun with Scent Dogs where the Ferals and I finally got to search inside planes!!
Not only did we have a great time searching the confines of military and civilian aircraft and meeting the amaxing people of Norfolk Air Museum but we made the papers too.

Yesterday Himself took Lettuce Elizabeth to K9 Scent & Search UK Operation Clean Sweep in Purfleet. She was teamed up with the big handsome fella that is Bucky, owned by Emma Dog Training-Rochford for the day.
They had a blast and came second out of 8 teams.

A day out for me and Mighty Flea today with K9 Scent & Search UK competing in The National Nosework Association Enhanced Stage trial.
Flea & I haven’t done much work together of late so we are finding our balance again. She searched really well and had a great day even if we didn’t get any badges.
Making time for my own dogs was in the plans this year but being ill for weeks had put us a bit behind but losing Olive reminds me that we never have enough time with them.
