What a better day to share this pirate than today, international talk like a pirate day!

I've always said Orla is my little pirate. So it seemed only fitting to kit her out as such.

Luna is a very special girl. Gifted to her mum, Cherene Robertson yesterday, so I can finally share her.

Happy international dog day to all my furry clients. To the young pups, the golden oldies, the fuzzy and curly, the short haired, the drooly and all of you good boys and girls. I love you all.

Second to share today is this handsome chap. The Kit-Tea Café falkirks beautiful boy, Jasper.

He was so lovely to meet when I nipped through. If you want to go see the cats please visit their page and book in. They do kid friendly days and even ASN timeslots.

Sharing a pair of beauties today. First up this is Alba. She's a resident at The Kit-Tea Café in Falkirk, so if you're looking for something a little different to do get booked in and go have a cuppa with the kitty's!

It was such a pleasure getting to look at this wee face to paint, then again getting to see her in person and give her some chin scratches.

Happy Friday everyone

Hope you all enjoy seeing this week's work.

This special girl was my Madge, and I've always loved the pose in the reference photo. So I decided to break out the black canvases to try and capture her.

I am so pleased with how she has turned out.

I have a couple of these black canvases on hand if anyone is interested in a commission on one. They are A3 in size and would be £80 each. Please message if you're interested in this.

- as always portraits are taken on with the understanding that clear reference photos can be given. If I feel the photos aren't great for this type or size of canvas I will offer alternatives, usually of a smaller size which is a lower cost-

Good morning everyone!

With the end of the summer holidays I am now looking forward to the rest of the year. I know not everyone likes the C word (and I don't mean cat) in August, but for small businesses like mine I have to think ahead.

So with that, just a little reminder that the diary is OPEN for commissions up until Christmas.

I have a couple of spaces available between now and October, then it's onto my Christmas bookings.

These always fill quickly, so please do get in touch if you are interested. No deposit necessary.

A lovely memory popping up today.

Good morning everyone!

I've been quiet this last couple of weeks as I was on holiday. But back to it for the last couple of weeks before the schools break off. I have a beautiful double portrait to share later today, and one more to complete - hopefully before the end of term.

Watch this space for some more unusual paintings being shared through the summer. I'm also going to do a stock inventory and have a small summer sale :)

And to accompany this spiel I've added a cutesy wee doodle from a few years ago that I might revisit ❤️

This week i have the pleasure of sharing a lovely pair of labs. Please note these are hunting dogs, and the paintings are of them each with a proud trophy. Their prizes are all cooked into delicious meals by their mum and dad.

5 years ago I was asked to paint this little princess, and that's where oo-de-lally doodles all began! Just me, a canvas and a rough easel that my husband threw together for me, sitting on my bedroom floor.
I love seeing how far I've come, but i also still have a wee special love for my early works.

Good morning!
I hope everyone had the most wonderful Bank Holiday weekend. I spent it with the kids doing a variety of things including visiting Lunar Eclipse, which offers Equine Facilitated Learning here in Stirling. One of our visits prompted this sketch, paint to follow!

However back in the studio this week to finish a gorgeous wee cat, and start on the next pup!
