Soooo, lovely to visit Buzzy Boy today, to see how he’s getting on after his leg op.
Glad to say he’s in good spirits, so much so, he thought we were off on our usual mad ball chasing jaunt !!
Glad to say he is being a good boy and resting up on his new bed and wearing his leg plaster with pride !!😍

Sooooo, it looks like the warmer weather is coming in later in the week - Summers back 🌞 YAY !
But this will mean that our walkies may be taken in a different way to normal.
WHY, I hear you cry 🤣 🐾🐾 ?
Well, doggies feel the heat much quicker than we do, so the usual running around, chasing balls and each other has to be carefully supervised so they don’t over exert themselves and get heatstroke !🥵
Also the pavements and tarmac can get super hot too and can burn their paws. Ouch !😢
So although we love the summer sunshine, we tackle this by going for slower, shaded woodland walks, preferably with a stream nearby and some very limited ball play, so your boys n girls can enjoy their time out n about still but at a slower pace. If the temperature reaches silly figures, then we’ll reschedule to another cooler day ❄️

Did YOU know…….

Microchipping: It’s Not Optional !!!!

Since April 2016, it’s been a legal requirement to microchip your dog and keep your details registered with a DEFRA-compliant database.

And as of June 2024, the same now applies to cats. All cats must be microchipped by the time they’re 20 weeks old.

If your pet(s) isn’t chipped, or if your contact info is out of date, you’re technically breaking the law and could be fined up to £500 !!!

Also and more importantly, it could mean the difference between getting your pet back… or not.

So, the microchip is just a tiny piece of tech under your pet’s skin. But it’s only useful if your details are correct. That means your phone number, email, and address need to be current. ALWAYS !

If you haven’t yet registered your pets microchip, then go make a cup of tea, sit down and do it NOW.

We haven’t had our lively & fun walkies with Buzzy boy for a while as he has a poorly leg and we’ve all been hoping he’ll be back on form soon, but we’ve just heard his leg isn’t on the mend yet.
