Sweet Cherry loves a good photo sesh after her groom as she knows her mummy or daddy will be coming to fetch her soon!

Most of my doggy clients know the entire routine of the groom, because I do the same routine over and over, (I have joked that it something ever happens to me some of the dogs will be able to groom themselves🤣)

I find this constant repeated routine calming for the doggies as they know what is happening next and stay comfortable. This is very important in a restraint free dog groomers like myself,

When grooming your pup at home try find a routine that works for you and stick with it, your doggies become easier and more cooperative to groom.

Style to Rescue was brilliant! What an exciting grooming competition to be part yesterday.

Thank you to Jitka for organising and to Costin and Georgia for judging the competition.

I loved meeting so many incredible groomers from all over the country.

In total 72 rescue dogs were groomed, from various rescue organisations and a total of £13,000 was raised for the charities! Wow

I feel so proud to be part of this profession and to see groomers show compassion and care and gentle techniques for the rescue pups they were grooming.

The dog I was grooming was disabled, his back legs were deformed and he couldn’t bend his legs. Grooming him safely took quite a lot of patience and a very slow pace. The groomer at the table beside me was quick to offer her belly strap help me comfortably and safely groom this little guy.

There were fantastic seminars too! Well done to all the groomers who took part in this great competition and thank you to Jikta, and Costin and Georgia !
