Wir haben jetzt sogenannte “Soft Claws” für Katzen. Besonders geeignet für Pruritus-Patienten (chronischer Juckreiz) oder andere Katzen, die sich besonders am Kopf und Halsbereich nicht kratzen sollen. Sie werden nach Kürzungen der Krallen aufgeklebt.

So wie bei dieser Katze, sie wurde am Ohr operiert, ließ weder Halskragen noch Pfotenverband dran.

The glue that comes with Soft Claws is usually thick, and already dried out even before opening for application. But did you know acrylic nail glue is the same stuff, thinner and works just as well. Be sure to change them out every 4-6 weeks. Also soft nail caps serve a great purpose for cats with allergies as they cannot damage their skin with excessive scratching. They are not just a declaw alternative.
EDIT: READ THE POST BEFORE MAKING A COMMENT: YES they can retract their claws. Use the correct size or have your vet/groomer show you the size necessary for use.
