Veterinary Physiotherapy service, specialising in dogs, working with all small animals. Established in 2018 🐾

Predominantly Derbyshire based, but covering some areas of Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire and Leicestershire. Transition Veterinary Physiotherapy is owned by, Emma-Jayne Rudkin, a BSc Hons Veterinary Physiotherapy graduate from Harper Adams University. My previous experience with animals, both competitively and caring for companion animals led me to pursue a career in Veterinary Physiotherapy. During my time at University I become more involved with working dogs and competition animals which has been a keen interest of mine since qualifying. TVP works with cats and dogs for rehabilitation and also offers a canine performance service for competition/working dogs.

Big thank you to Mel at Phoenix Veterinary Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation for allowing me to shadow her splinting appointment with a case of mine.

Very excited to continue this process and learn more, this session a splint with thermoplastic elements was fitted and moulded for the tarsus.

TVP’s diary is now open.

Good news; my diary is now open for all clients. This includes new cases, performance and fitness clients and of course returning clients.

Please do note that my home visit radius covered is smaller than previous due to time limit restraints. Where possible I will try and see cases at a clinic based location so I may remain offering appointments to those enquiring.

My Spondon clinic has reopened!

My clinic is back up and running Thursday mornings at Ashfield House Veterinary Hospital Ltd 🐾

Appointments are currently available from mid-July for existing clients and excitingly - new patients of AHVH! 🗓️

Please give them a call or ask during your next check-up with them if you’d like to book in 📞

Thank you for everyone’s continued support and patience during my maternity leave 🐾

I will be spending a little longer than originally planned at home with my family, but during the next few months I will be seeing clients that were previously seen by TVP.

What does this mean for clients?
- If you’ve previously been seen by myself and would like a review, please get in touch.
- If you were a clinic patient, please reach out to discuss arranging a private referral.
- No new patients are being taken on at this time, social media channels will announce when this changes.
- No clinics will restart yet, social media channels will announce when this changes.

My work phone is now back on and emails are being monitored; please note this will not be as frequently as before but I will get back to you ASAP 📞✉️

Hello,

I hope everyone has had a lovely break and enjoying the New Year!

I’ve reached out to all the clients who requested me to contact them for reviews upon my return to work.

If you’d like to be added to the list please either send me an email or a WhatsApp to be included.

Please note sessions are via private referral starting in March, not in my clinics, as these will remain on hold until later in 2026. These sessions are for clients that have been previously seen by myself as new referrals also remain on hold for now.

A quick hello and thank you 🐾

I just wanted to say a big thank you to all my clients for their well wishes. Baby and I are doing very well.

I will be getting in touch with all those who wished to be contacted upon my slow return to work next year.
