Two fluffballs in today for a bath and de-shed.
First the gorgeous Enzo who liked to sing while she had her bath. She shed a lot of her coat today and left looking a few tones lighter.
Next in was Lola from just across the road. She knows the ropes and, after the obligatory treat, trotted up the steps into the bath ready for her pamper sesh.

Otis came for his summer haircut today and, after behaving like a wee gentleman, he got to have a carry on with Kylo. Bring on the zoomies 🐾😂

A wee freebie for my mums dog today. Tilly is a 14 year old working cocker spaniel. She gets a full clip down to make things more manageable for my mum.
Shes a grumpy wee thing though, Tilly not my mum😂😂🐾

Kylo kept checking in to make sure his cousin was getting the star treatment but not too many of HIS treats😂

Dogs can eat lots of fruits such as bananas, apples, strawberries, blueberries, mango, melon and watermelon, just be sure to avoid grapes, avocados, cherries, tomatoes and raisins as they are very very bad for your dog 🐾

So who remembers the wolf-like dogs from Game Of Thrones?? Well they were stunning Northern Inuit dogs.
Meet Loki who is a Northern Inuit X German Shepherd. He’s a three legged boy but it doesn’t hinder him in the slightest and he was a joy to groom💙🐾

WEATHER WARNING ‼️ 🐾

Please please be careful with your dogs in this hot weather. If it’s over 20°C your dog can be in danger of heatstroke if taken out for a walk. Also don’t allow your pet to lie out and sunbathe. Heatstroke can happen very easily and here are some of the signs to watch out for…..

- excessive panting
- tongue, gums, inside of ears are bright red
- drooling/salivating
- out of character slowing down or stopping on a walk
- rapid heart rate

🐾If you spot these signs of heatstroke seek veterinary advice immediately🐾

Your dog won’t die from NOT being taken a walk in these temperatures.

In hot weather keep walks to early morning or late evening to keep your fur baby safe🐾

Take extra care if, like me, you have a Brachycephalic breed(squishy face like a boxer, pug, bulldog)then please take extra caution as they are far more likely to struggle.

This wet but warmer weather is giving ticks the perfect conditions to get active so make sure to check your pets regularly.
This picture points out the most likely places to find ticks but the reality is that they can be found anywhere, even in the gums🫣🐾

Can’t lie, I do love a boxer babe and today was an absolute treat to have the beautiful Zac in for a pamper. The boxer kisses were constant but there were no complaints from me🐾💙

So today I had the most delightful, wriggly, wiggly doggo in for a haircut. The gorgeous Molly was a joy to groom but she ain’t gonna stand still for a before/after pic, especially when there’s toys to play with outside😂🐾

So the scores are in and I managed to raise a whopping £1445 for Boxer Welfare Scotland from my wing walk. Can’t tell you how pleased I am and look forward to the next death defying stunt I can think up to help raise money for the boxer babes 🐾💙

Remember folks your dog is wearing a fur coat so don’t be taking them out in this warm weather unless super early or late evening. I’m out just now with Kylo and at almost 8am it’s really heating up 🥵 🐾
