is Home 🏡💕

We are absolutely delighted to announce that our gorgeous boy Ralph has found his forever home 🥰

Ralph was sadly surrendered by his previous family, who could no longer prioritise him. We never judge — we’re simply grateful to be able to help when pups like Ralph need us ❤️

He went into foster with our amazing volunteer Wayne and his crew, Babs the Pug and GBSR Bleu 🩷. Ralph settled in quickly, though the girls took their time warming up to him… girls will be girls! 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️

When it came time to find Ralph’s perfect family, we received lots of applications. In the end, we knew we had found the right match with Melanie and Ryan, their daughter Stevie, and Ralph’s new fur sister Betsy 🥰🥹

Please join us in congratulating Melanie, Ryan, Stevie, Betsy — and of course Ralph! ❤️

He’s already settling beautifully into his new home and surroundings, and we’re confident that he and Betsy will be the best of friends in no time 🕰️😍

Please welcome Bella into the arms of our Springboard family 🙏

Bella is approximately 3 years old, and she was found as a stray on the streets 😢

A homeless person laid claim to Bella but never came back to collect her, so we were more than happy to take her into foster and give her the life she deserves 🥰

At the weekend it was all systems go as volunteers Helen Nunn and Gail Agrisatini jumped into action to road train Bella to the South East and into foster with Martin Parsons.
We cannot thank Helen and Gail enough for being so flexible on Sunday, it wasn’t easy, and we are very grateful for you giving up your time to get Bella safely to Martin. And to Martin who has offered to foster teeny tiny Bella for us. It was a great effort from everyone so thank you very much 🙏💖

Bella was understandably unsettled on Sunday night as she had experienced a lot of change in a short period of time, but she is now settling beautifully 🥰

Martin has taken her on walks and given her a new tennis ball which she loves, and she is starting to relax which is always beautiful to see.

Bella appears to be in good health, but she will have her vet check later this week and we will discuss her spay and get her booked in.

Please welcome the very handsome Wilson into the arms of our Springboard family 🙏

Wilson is an entire 5-year-old boy who has been very much loved, spoilt and treated like a Prince by his owner.

But sadly, circumstances have changed, and Wilsons owner had to face the heart-breaking reality of finding Wilson a new home, one where he will always be treated with the love and kindness he has had since he was a puppy.

So, when we were asked if we could take Wilson we said yes and started arrangements to bring him into foster 💙

We want to thank Cherie Williams for taking Wilson into foster and he is now residing in Wales with Cherie’s family and other dogs. Thank you for giving up your time and home for one of our dogs Cherie, it’s very much appreciated 🙏💟

Wilson had a settled first night and he has met GBSR girl , and Frenchie Bruce.
Wilson and Debs have bonded straight away, Bruce and Wilson need a little bit more time, so Cherie is taking them out on walks together and letting them in the same space little and often and the signs so far are positive 🙏

Wilson has been fed human so he isn’t keen on dog food right now and will actively seek out anyone eating so he can get a nosh..!! 😅 … and he loves to sleep whenever he can… and that’s most of the time 😁

We couldn’t describe Wilson as a high energy dog, more of a slow burner … but a gorgeous one at that 🥰

Later this week Wilson will have his vet check, and we can discuss he neuter and get that booked in.

In the early hours of Monday morning, Ember gave her foster mum, Shelley, a fright! She started coughing, which resulted in her bringing up lots of phlegm 😢

Shelley stayed with Ember throughout the night to keep a close eye on her condition, and this morning, she took her straight to the vets.

Unfortunately, our poor girl has kennel cough 🙁

The good news is that the vet feels Ember us through the worst stage of the illness and has pescribed medication to keep her comfortable whilst she fully recovers.

💕 Layla update 💕

A few weeks ago we annouced that Layla had gone home. Unfortunately, Layla quickly decided to take a dislike to her new fur sister, Sydney 🙁

Our admin team worked closely with Layla's new family, For the safety and happiness of both dogs, Layla's new family made the heartbreaking decision it was best she came back into our care. We please ask for no judgement! Layla's family took onboard every piece of advice we gave but Layla just didn't want to accept Sydney 💔

Layla came back into foster and joined her first foster mummy, Laura and her family again 🥰

Thankfully, she wasn't in foster long! Quite literally, just a few days 🙌🏻 Our fabulous volunteers Ben and Kate have been looking for a new furbaby to join their family, so when Layla came back into foster we knew had the perfect match for them 🥹

Layla was collected by her new parents last week and we're beyond happy to say shes settling in beautifully! She's loving being the only princess and soaking up all the love and attention 👑🩷

We would to say a huge thank you to Laura for opening up your heart and home to our gorgeous girl at short notice. We would also like to say thank you to Jason, Layla's orignal foster dad, for supporting us through Layla's move to ensure a smooth transition🏡❤️

I’m settling in well with my foster family and keeping my foster fur bro Buster at a distance .. We’ll see.. he’s not like me.. he’s all wrinkly 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️

Also I’ve been told I’m gonna meet spoons soon 🐢.. I’ve told the nice lady id rather just eat straight from the bowl I don’t need a spoon! 🤣👀 (you may get a shock Maggie when you realise Spoons is a Tortoise 🐢)
