16h, 7yo gelding

Super hunting gelding for sale. Great in the field, will lead or follow over any hunt jump, stands like a rock at the meet and during the hunt, super mannerly queueing. Fun and easy ride suitable for anyone!

Works nicely on the flat, schools over a course of 90cm jumps at the moment, not spooky with any fillers, Xc schools sweetly, good with all ditches/steps/water etc. hacks alone and in company.

Good to shoe/box/clip etc

What everyone is looking for - super easy ride with tonnes of talent

4th at her last BE Novice

Star is the perfect event horse, she is lovely on the flat with 3 nice paces, she is very rideable and has the ‘wow’ factor.

She is clean and very adjustable and polite to jump, will take a miss and is very amateur friendly, she is not spooky in any way.

XC she is straight and honest and easy to make the time on. What more could you want?!

She is good to do in all ways, good to hack alone and in company, will go first or last, good to shoe/box/clip/plait/bath - you name it, she’s good at it, absolutely no vices.

She would make a lovely junior horse as she is such an easy ride. She’s scopey so would happily continue going up the levels. This year she has done a 35 double clear at a PC100 followed by a 35, one pole and clear Xc at Burgham in the 6yo class which is run around the BE novice track. She has since done two more novices, finishing 4th at Shelford. She is still low mileage but would easily step up to intermediates next year or carry on at Novice and 2* level.

I don’t have a bad word to say about this lovely mare, only for sale as owners daughter has lost interest and is going traveling - current rider would love to keep the ride!

She is about to go on holidays so owners will accept reasonable offers before she goes.

She has also hunted so could be a lovely year round horse to have fun on and hunt through the winter and event in summer!

🦄 STAR - 16.1/2h 6yo mare, by Heraldik. Competing at novice level BE, super easy and polite ride, still grassroots eligible for now. No vices, good in all ways, anyones ride. 5 figs

🦄 ANNA - 16.2h 5yo mare. (Unreg breeding but ID x ISH type) Currently schooling round 95/1m courses, Xc schools well, would make a lovely grassroots horse/ amateur ride. Could also be a good mother/ daughter share/ riding club/ pony club/ hunter! No vices, good in all ways etc. lowest 5 figs.

🦄 MARY - 16.2h 6yo ISH mare. Currently schooling round 85/90cm, Xc schools nicely. Would make a fab riding club/ pony club type, easy ride, no vices etc. makes a noise in her wind but is priced accordingly. Mid-high 4 figs

🦄 REGGIE - 16.1h 4yo ISH gelding. Schools sweetly and just starting out over jumps, has Xc schooled and is a very good boy giving everything a go first time. Will make a lovely horse for someone to produce further, more woah than go type! Highest 4 figs

All horses are well behaved, no vices, good to do in all ways (shoe, box, we haven’t clipped them as it’s summer but can’t imagine any issues). All horses are exceptional to hack alone and in company and great in all traffic - reggie hasn’t hacked on his own yet due to his age but really can’t imagine he would care and I would be happy to take him on his own if it’s a deal breaker for someone!

Mel and Star then went all the way up to Burgham Horse Trials. Mel ran in the Intermediate section and did a slightly excitable test but still got a 37 and then another double clear for her with only 0.8 time, the quickest she’s ran at this level! (Pic 1&2)

Star did the 6yo class, was thrown in right at the deep end for her first BE event, first Novice and only 3rd ever event. She was absolutely super for a 35 dressage, 1 pole sj and a clear in the time round a beefy track 🤩🥰 (pic 3)

Another late update from a busy month 😊 all horses have been going so well! Some breakers have gone home and some new sales ponies have come in. I have also taken on more stables to allow for more horses 🫣😁 I will do another post later this week to update everyone on what horses we have in!

Paris and Star have been out to Buckminster PC one day event. Both were super stars in the 100 section.

Paris did a bit of a naughty boy dressage and had his first ever pole sj because he jumped too high and forgot he also had to go across the fence 😂 he then did a lovely Xc round! (Pics 1-3)

Star did a smart dressage for a slightly disappointing mark of 35 followed by two lovely clear rounds jumping 🤩 (pics 4&5)

Does anyone have a Flexineb nebuliser I could borrow/ use for a few weeks 🙏 I stupidly sold mine thinking I wouldn’t need it anymore and now Sod’s Law I need it 🤦‍♀️

🌟 looking for someone a bit bigger than this to help around the yard 😝🌟

I’m open to most suggestions including working/ training pupil position or having a horse based with me etc and can be very flexible but need someone reliable as I have childcare to juggle as well as the horses!

🦄 mostly riding role, some occasional yard duties

🦄 freelance hours to suit but at least 3/4 days a week.

🦄 Must be an experienced enough rider to help school and jump young horses and do sales videos etc. more opportunities to compete available if wanted and able.

A busy day on Tuesday at Vale View for the BYEH class.

FourFields Sport Horses Cornerstone (Dallas), Fourfields Ignatius (Iggy) and Qamar Sandro Star (Boris) Becky Howsam were all in the 4yo class. All did pleasing dressage tests and sweet sj rounds, I couldn’t have asked for any more from any of them. All the 4yos have now gone on their holidays and Boris has gone home 😢!

Fourfields Triumph (Paris) was in the 5yo class. He is still very green for a 5yo and hasn’t done much at all but he came out and did a nice ish albeit a little spooky dressage test and a lovely clear round sj round the biggest track he’s jumped so far. Good ponies all round 🥰

It seems that the updates are slowing down 🙈 sorry!! Both Fat Kev and Wendy have found lovely new forever homes - we are feeling very proud of our match making 🥰

Boris and Paris are gearing up for their first BYEH class at vale view in a few weeks time. Boris did his first training show at Elms Farm Equestrian Centre and was such a good boy, taking it all in his stride.

Melda had another good run at Osberton in the 3*s with another MER in the bag ✅

We have a busy weekend ahead with new horses arriving so keep an eye on the page for details 😎

GENUINE, UNCOMPLICATED & SMART ALLROUNDER
16.1hh, 4 yo Mare. Wendy is an absolute pleasure to have around with the sweetest character in & out of the saddle. Despite her age, she's never bucked, bronked, reared, spun or napped since we’ve had her. She’s very safe with an old, wise head on young shoulders. She's got lovely movement & would produce a smart test, she’s a very easy ride & would make anyone look good in the white boards. She’s been out to a few arena hires & is learning very quickly. She’s XC schooled, proving uncomplicated over ditches, steps, water etc. Wendy is completely bomb-proof out hacking, alone & in company, even in the heaviest traffic, completely fine with farm machinery, school buses etc. She even nanny’s our older horses out hacking because she's 100% reliable. Wendy is an uncomplicated, chilled out lady & she's ready to be someone’s horse of a lifetime. We think she could suit a number of different jobs & would make a cracking hunter/ badminton grassroots campaigner/ mother daughter share/ riding club/ happy hacker - an allround fun horse. She's still young & green so not for complete novices or beginners but she would be suitable for most homes. No vices. Good to shoe, box, clip etc. Advert ID: 5470

Lots going on at Nichols sports horses recently. Both Mango and Maisey headed off to their new homes, we couldn’t be happier with the matches we have made and can’t wait to see what they get up to 🥰

Melda posted our best Intermediate result to date yesterday at Tweseldown. 35 double clear with planned time faults 😅 it’s taken 5 years but I think it’s all starting to come together 🤣 hopefully the new well behaved Mel is here to stay 🤞🏻🎉

Mango and Melda went to combined training yesterday. Mango would have come 2nd in her class with a nice dressage test and a lovely clear round had it not been for some pesky sat nav issues 🤣. Melda was back to her usual 😈😈 self with a very naughty dressage test, clearly not feeling like a grown up yet 😭 but did a lovely round sj.

Look how much 5yo Anna has come on Xc schooling in the last few weeks 😍 can’t ask for much more from a 5yo!! She is still here and available for viewings, can’t believe she’s not been snapped up yet!

Please excuse the yard not having been swept yet 🤣 rising 4yo Boris has come for breaking in and starting his education, he’s being a very good boy so far and has now graduated from being ridden in the barn to out in the lunge pen 🤓 here’s a video of him having his first trot round the other day! We like to start them in the barn so they’re comfortable in their surroundings and have their mates cheering them on 🤣 breaking horses is my absolute favourite job and I would be happy with a whole yard full to work with every day! Spaces still available for upcoming months!
