BT Academy are delighted to be able to offer the British Horse Society Changing Lives through horses programme. Which is an alternative educational provision for those children and young people who are struggling or disengaged from a school environment.

🌟The programme is designed for all key stages from age 5 to 25 and supports the development of 6 key personal, social and emotional skills through working alongside horses.

🌟Curriculum links to key stages 1-4 which covers both primary and secondary education.

🌟Option to take an accredited personal development qualification which sits on the OFQUAL framework and is the equivalent of a GCSE

🌟Ideal for those electively home educated, those with EHCP's, SEN or those struggling in mainstream education.

🌟The programme can be delivered on a 121 or small group basis.

🌟Participants can start when they need to- no fixed start and end date.

🌟Places are funded by the schools, Local Authorities, Health and Social care funding and more.

Group and 1to1 spaces available.

With the current heatwave that we are experiencing we are asking clients to keep an eye on your emails for cancellations of lessons this week, Any lessons that are cancelled the credit will go onto your account to book an alternative.

We are taking it day by day with regards to lessons but welfare of the ponies must come first and with their coats already starting to change ready for winter from the mild spell that we have been having they are feeling this heat more than normal.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but the well being of our ponies must come first.

Hi All.

Whist we are enjoying this sunny spell and the warmer weather it does mean their maybe changes or cancellations to lessons due to the heat we will keep an eye on the temperatures over the coming days.

Please keep an eye on your emails for any cancellations - if you don’t get an email then the lesson will be going ahead but some lessons may become woodland hacks where their is shade and it’s much cooler.

We will do our best to accommodate our clients but welfare of our ponies is first priority.
