While the weather is resembling the North Pole and the dogs are having a fab time running in the snow. Don’t forget that the salt and grit really hurts their paws. Just give them a wee rinse in warm water when you get home.

A year ago Gibson was terrified of the water and ran away whenever we were near it. Bit tricky when you live beside a river. But now he happily goes to the edge for a drink and even occasionally allows his toe nails to get wet. Feels like a tiny thing. But this is massive for him. You never know another yr and he might put a paw in. 😄

We’ve been working on sit and recall with Gibson. He very definitely has selective hearing. Similar to our 14yr old! But a new found love of carrots is helping him to concentrate.
