We offer a professional Dog walking, Pet/House sitting and Puppy/ Dog training service. Over the years I have expanded Muddy Paws to include some amazing hardworking and dedicated women. Myself and my team have many years' experience in pet ownership, dog walking and basic training. You can read all about about us on our ¨meet the team¨ page on our website! We have all worked with animal charities

in the past, are all Canine First Aid trained, and are all fully insured. We walk on beaches, dunes and woodland walks, always for at least 1 hour, unless previously arranged with you, the client. We only charge for the walking time and none of the travelling costs. We are huge animal lovers and have all been around animals all our lives, so your best friend is in good hands. Then let us look after your pet in our home, where they will be treated like part of the family. All of our pet sitters hold up to date pet sitting licenses. If you have multiple or anxious pets, we can look after them in their own home instead. On holiday in Cornwall, and want to go to the beach? No problem, let us take your dog out for the day. We do not charge for pre visits and we have no registration fees. All our paperwork follows local government guidelines.

Choosing the right dog walker or pet sitter can be difficult, especially if you are a new dog owner. ⭐️
Here are some helpful tips on what to look for:
✔️ Book a Pre-visit – This gives you and your dog the chance to meet your walker. For a pet sit this is really important. Your dog can have a good sniff around and you can both see where your dog will be staying. Your dog will be familiar with the home and more relaxed for their stay.
✏️ Check that they have insurance – A cover note can be provided
📃Check that they have a Pet Sitting licence – A sitter has to have a licence from the local council. The licence will be displayed.
🐶 Check how many dogs they are insured to walk/ board at one time – This will be on the insurance docs and licence.
❓What is their experience – How long have they been walking/ pet sitting?
📚Do they have any qualifications – Have they taken any training courses? Do they have First Aid?

House Sitter - St Austell & surrounding areas

Kayleigh lives in Launceston and joined the Muddy Paws team as a house sitter in 2018. She has always been an animal lover, from growing up around many different animals to completing her BSc Zoology degree in 2018. Therefore, she has a lot of experience of caring for various species meaning your animals are always in safe hands. She will treat your house and pets as if they are her own and takes great pride in her work!
During her time at Muddy Paws she has gained many regular clients who continue to have her care for their pets time and time again, always happy with the service she provides.
Earlier this year Kayleigh graduated as a Master of Science in Wildlife Biology & Conservation! Well Done Kayleigh!!

This week it is Emma Matthews!! 💕

Pet sitter and day care

Emma Matthews joined the Muddy Paws team in 2021. Her love and respect for animals and nature is clear to see and also evident in her volunteer work she does at Prickles and Paws Hedgehog Rescue. She is experienced with Greyhounds and has rehomed three, so she adores sight hounds and all of their quirky ways.

Currently she is a lucky owner of a rehomed Whippet X Collie who is 8 years old and a 3 year old Whippet. Emma also has 2 very unique pets - one that she inherited from her family that is over 80 years of age! Can you guess what they might be? Maybe some of our clients have been lucky to be introduced to them!
Her tranquil home on the Goss Moor right in the centre of Cornwall can provide a luxury home from home stay for your dog(s), where she can reach both sides of the coast for her dog walks.

💚We want to introduce you to the Muddy Paws Cornwall family! 💚

Each week I will introduce you to a lovely member of our team.
This week it is Emma Mac!! 💕

Dog Walker - Camborne & Redruth area 👣
Emma has always wanted to work with animals, and after leaving school she completed her Level 3 Veterinary Nursing Assistant course alongside working in a dog groomers. She then went to work in a veterinary practice as an animal care assistant part time which allowed her to start up a bit of dog walking in her spare time. The dog walking took off so well she decided to focus on that which she ran for 7 years and loved every minute! Due to COVID, she went back to working in a veterinary practice which allowed her to get a transfer to Cornwall. She decided to go back to doing what she loved and joined Muddy Paws in 2022! Until recently, she had a Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Jess who sadly has crossed the rainbow bridge. She now has a Yorkshire Terrier, Belle and a Collie called Arlo. 🐾

Emma Lives in Camborne and is now offering Day-care. She hopes to add Pet Sitting to her services in the coming months.
