The rest of year ahead is very busy with bookings up on last year. Finding it hard to supply demand with most the popular school holidays fully booked and everything else very limited.
Sometimes I get short notice bookings like a family emergency, I will always do my best to help out with these if I can. Dates for 2025 now being requested. Thanks again to all of you

Morning All
Great to see the daylight hours a bit longer these days. It would be lovely to have some dry weather as everything is so wet. I have found this winter very tough going with the wet weather, so looking forward to. hopefully, a lovely dry Spring.
Bookings are amazing for this year with most popular Summer ones fully booked, also very limited for the October school break even got some Christmas ones !! Just get in touch to see what's available.

I have a new BT telephone system since we upgraded to fibre and it's truely awful. Can't hear the phone ringing if out of the office which is most of the time. It has an answer machine which is checked on a regular basis so please leave a message or call/text the mobile on 07792195703 and of course on Facebook which a lot of people use to contact me.

As we begin to say goodbye to 2023. I’d like to say thank you to all our customers for another fantastic year of taking care of your animals.

The bookings for 2024 are just amazing so thank you for that. Please remember as you book a holiday for next year to let me know asap or maybe check with me first that I have availability as some of the popular summer ones are either fully booked or very limited.

It's been a challenging time recently with the constant wet weather. Feeling a bit better heading towards the Christmas holidays, we are full right through to early January with Feb half term hol very limited. Bookings are up for 2024 with some June/July/ August dates already limited.

We lost some lovely four legged dogs this year but the one that we miss so much is Rory, Neil's black lab and our first "granddog" There was something so special about him.
As a family we have a "few" dogs and as they come into my pack as pups they all get on so well. We are so lucky to have amazing dogs and it's my privledge to do what I do here looking after all my four legged friends.

It's been a very busy year and it's not looking like slowing down towards the end of the year.
Chistmas and New Year is fully booked. 2024 bookings are flowing in with the popular holiday times especially busy. So get in touch if you know your hoiday dates for next year. I hate to disappoint people but when it's full, it's full and I can't take anymore.

There's been a lot of disruption to travel arrangements this year and it's caused a few problems. Planes and trains especially, it causes a lot of chaos, not only for travellers but for places like me. Animals are due out and others due in. The outs can't go out because of cancellations as people can't get back in time and the ins are coming in !!!
It has caused a few sleepless nights around here.
I am finding lots of stressed people coming to pick up, while enjoying their holiday when there, it seems to be the travel and airports that causes most upset.
We just have to deal with whatever happens and it all seems to work out in the end.

I often get asked if the kennels quieten down after the schools go back. The simple answer is NO, in fact late August into September is very busy. I am very limited into the October holidays with the school half term all booked up. November is looking busy too. Fully booked for Christmas although a few dates between towards New Year.
I had a lovely weekend, including an appearance at the Saturday showcase at Kelso Folk Festival to sing at the lunchtime concert and Rachael's baby shower on Sunday, organised by her lovely friends. As usual Colin minded the animals as I went off.
Very early mornings to get up extra early and get the dogs all walked and the cats fed and cleaned out but as the mornings are so lovely at the moment, its a pleasure to be out.

Is anyone looking for a Cocker Spaniel puppy ?
Only two Golden male pups about 7wks now and from a cracking litter. Both dogs known to me and are from a great strain of workers but also fantastic family pets too.

I can pass on details of interested parties to the owner.
Just getting the word about to find these great wee guys a home.

Hi all, it’s been a while since I posted something. I have been extremely busy over December, January and into Feb. March is nicely buzzing. I’ve been overwhelmed with bookings for 2023 so that’s very encouraging. Looking forward to the year ahead and taking care of all these lovely animals.

Season's Greetings to you all,
Christmas passed by in a blur as full kennels and cattery but I didn't want to let the old year go out without thanking one and all for your support these past few years. This year has been a turning point for so many of you getting back to some sort of normality and leaving the dogs and cats with me so you can have a bit of R&R.

As we leave 2022 behind and look forward to 2023, we must look forward, I am very much a half glass full kinda person with so much uncercertainty around so many things, we must focus on the positive. I have such a supportive family and that is so important to us all.

A lovely few days away for some R&R for my birthday. It’s been a very busy and quick year for us all. Just needed off the treadmill for a wee while. As always we couldn’t do it without Alan and Lewis holding the fort at home taking care of the animals.

The weather has been a challenge because of the rain. Wet dogs, wet towels and very damp underfoot.
I've had a couple of rough days after my covid/flu jabs and just wanted to sleep. Luckily I have a knight in shining armour or in this case wet weather gear, as ever Colin is there to help me out with the dogs while I crashed out on the sofa. Feeling lots better and back on the job

Well, that was a busy day of bookings for 2023, including a first for me, a Christmas booking for next year !
I am very lucky to take care of all these lovely animals, it's an absolute pleasure. Thanks one and all.

Now looking ahead into November. Up until a few weeks ago was fairly quiet, is now booking up fast.
Very limited on availability for Christmas holiday time so let me know asap.
I've had a flurry of new customers this year which is lovely but at busy times it's first come first served so get in touch if you've booked a holiday next year.
June/ July /August 2023 are filling up already !! I even have bookings for October school half term 2023.
Almost impossible now to accomodate people who book last minute holidays at busy times.
I spoke to one lady who phoned every kennels in a 50 mile radius just 2 days before the October break and couldn't find anywhere. It's always the same response when I say I'm fully booked " What am I going to do ? " I feel really sorry for them.
So all I can say is get booked in early to avoid disapointment.
It's lovely dog walking with the trees on the turn but after the rain of late, very wet muddy but happy dogs to dry off.

Here we are hurtling into September that was a very quick August ! It continues to be very busy, infact all booked up till end of October. Christmas bookings coming in so just let me know asap as its getting limited availibility already. It's been an incredible year with lots of new customers so finding it difficult to supply the demand and often have a waiting list for popular dates. Taking bookings for 2023 so let me know, I've got quite a few already. I don't have a fancy booking service, just a speadsheet and a diary. Often thought about a website but don't need one as lots of my customers pass on my name to people, word of mouth works for me !

My pick up and drop off times remain Mon-Sat 8am till 4pm. Sunday 8am till 1pm.

In order for me to continue please make sure that you keep in touch should your arranged time for drop off / pickup time change.

This helps me greatly to organise my day around animals, family and life in general.

The summer intake is in full swing and going well. We managed the hot days last week very well, walking the dogs very early before the heat hit. Fully booked until end of October, no availability for half term. November now filling up. Christmas bookings ( I know !! ) now being taken, so get in early. I will take bookings for 2023, in fact I’ve got quite a few already.

It's been a busy time of late with so many calls and messages for bookings. My apologies if I've not been able to help, I've never had such a demand for the kennels and cattery. No availability until well into August. I've had cancellations but I have a waiting list that I can refer to so I can hopefully fill the space. September is booking fast and October half term is very limited. As things change very quickly, just give me a call and I will do my best to help but sometimes the computer just says NO !!
