We have seen the beauty and benefits first hand and what it has done for our beloved dogs. We wanted to know what was in our dog’s food as we were not happy with the commercial diets being offered. We wanted our family pets to really thrive and the key to this was the best natural ingredients that we could find. We used to dedicate a Sunday in every month to making our dogs food with freshly sourc

ed natural ingredients. Very soon people started to comment on how shiny our dog’s coats were, and how healthy they looked , no doggy smell and the best part was the small p**ps. While others would walk along, swinging a rather large bag of p**p, that could to all intense and purposes, could probably be used as a weapon in self defence, we would have the tiniest, lightest p**p of all! Our dog’s never suffered with the skin and digestive problems that seem to be associated with a dry food diet. Soon family and friends started to ask us to make food for their dogs and so they say the rest is history. Our ingredients have been chosen to maximise nutrition and for all of the health benefits they provide. We are really proud of what we have achieved. In October 2016, we opened our very first “Embark On Raw, Natural Dog and Cat Food Store”, we now offer the very best in raw feeding and natural treats and are proud stockists of not only our own Embark On Raw brand but also Natural Instinct, Benyfit Natural, Albion, Paleo Ridge, Dougies, Nutriment, Prodog Raw, Henley Raw, Natures Menu,
and Purrform. We are now one of the biggest and most experienced one stop raw feeding stores. In September 2021, we opened “Embark On Wellbeing Pet Hub & Spa” which offers vet nurse services, wellbeing checks, pet grooming and a self service dog wash and so in spring of 2022 we placed our services under the care of Embark Uk Group Ltd. When you Embark On Raw, you embark on a journey that you will never look back on, and as feeding raw has become our passion, we love to help in any way we can and share our knowledge with you. Our Story

Embark On Raw started because we were simply not happy with the commercial dog food products that were available to us.

Embark On Raw is much more than just a business for us; it was founded through our interest in looking after the diets of our own dogs and knowing what we had made a difference.

We will always take time to help our customers with questions as our journey has led us to have a detailed understanding of the dietary requirements for dogs, highlighting the pitfalls of feeding many of the conventional dry and tinned foods on the market today. Since then it has gone from strength to strength, supplying very happy customers in parts of Essex and surrounding areas.

We have for many years been advocates of raw feeding, we have seen the beauty and benefits first hand and what it has done for our beloved dogs. We have what we believe to be, complete and nutritionally balanced range of working dog and natural raw dog food. All ingredients have been chosen to maximise nutrition and for all of the health benefits they provide.
