Nala is one of our permanent residents.
Nala has monthly pain killer injections as she has a deformity in both of her knee caps which causes mobility problems.
At a recent vet visit Nala had blood tests which revealed she now has kidney disease. We're closely monitoring her.
Despite these problems Nala loves a fuss and has managed her disability well. She has scratch posts at varying levels which enable her to climb and sit at a height where she is most comfortable 🐱 🐾

The lovely Charlie and Spike 😻
Charlie and Spike are brothers who came to us last year. Charlie the tabby arrived with terrible itchy skin. Over grooming and excessive scratching had caused nasty sores, thinning fur and bald patches.
Charlie is allergic to many things. Some allergens are dietary and some are environmental. He looks so well right now. He occasionally has to have a steroid injection when he has a flare up and it's best to do this early on rather than wait and see how he goes as otherwise he can cause alot of self harm in a short amount of time.
Both Charlie and Spike are fed Katkin. We have a monthly subscription delivery for them which costs around £130. The ingredients contain no allergens. If you would like to sponsor Charlie and Spike or set up a monthly standing order which will go towards caring for the boys and our other many animals at the Sanctuary we would be extremely grateful 🙏🏻

Our stable block extension and refurbishment is now complete!
We are so pleased with the finished result 😀
All across the stable block has been insulated and boarded. More lights have been put in and throughout has been painted. The extension is where the old pig sty used to be and an area we only used in the spring and summer months. Now it is a fully insulated indoor area where our ducks, chickens and turkeys live.
The area at the back was a wasted bit of space that has been cleared and been fully fox proofed so our birds can safely be outside when they aren't out the front free roaming.
Roofing vents have also been added to reduce condensation inside.
The outer wall hs also now been rendered.
We are always wanting to upgrade and better what we have at the Sanctuary when funds allow.
Thank you all for supporting the sanctuary as without supporters we cannot do this. These projects are very expensive but needed.
We are always grateful for donations no matter how big or small.

🐾 Meet Nidge the Greyhound!
🌟This 6-year-old spayed brindle beauty is confident and friendly. She’s an absolute dream to walk, and adores socialising with larger dogs. 🐕 She does have a high prey drive, so a home without cats or small furries is ideal!
Nidge thrives with canine companionship, or in a home where someone's around a lot, as she doesn't enjoy solitude so much.
Nidge has recently had a dental.

Demi and Dylan are approx 7month old siblings and are looking for a new home together as a pair.
Demi and Dylan are sociable around other cats. Dylan is the more confident of the two. Both love a fuss and are always purring.
Demi and Dylan can live with children. They are very gentle. Dylan insists on cuddles where he's sitting on your chest or shoulders.
They could live with a calm cat friendly dog.
No busy/main roads.
Before adopting please make sure you have thought about the financial aspect of owning an animal - food, vets bills, boarding costs when going away etc. Having animals is a lifetime commitment and careful thought should be made before adopting. Homevisit and adoption fee applies.
