Starting September 1st, we will be implementing a £5 increase in our daily/nightly rates. Here are the new prices:

• Weekday Daycare: £25 per day
• Weekend Daycare: £29 per day
• Boarding: £35 per night
• IVDD specialist care and other complex care requirements: £45 per night
• Bank Holiday Boarding: £65 per night
• Bank Holiday Daycare: £45 per day
• Late check-out fee remains unchanged
• Juvenile dog under 12 months surcharge of £5 per day/night remains applicable
• Second dog discount of £10 for boarding 5 nights or more still applies

It sure is a lovely job to do, but it is 24/7, 365 days a year unless we take our own holidays. We don’t get to go out on the evening or weekend and have a social life. Boarding is a lifestyle, we often work 16-hour days to provide the best care for your pups!

Yes, we do get endless cuddles, but that’s the best bit! We are also doing a lot of admin, calls, accounts, new client/dog meets, paperwork, courses, social media, playtime, 'pupdates', endless cleaning, endless poo patrol 💩, plus the daily running of our own house and eating, if we can fit it in! 😂

Operating a home boarding business involves significant costs: license fees, insurance, accounting, website costs, courses, toys, treats, chews, beds, blankets, constant washing machine usage, washing powder, laundry sanitiser, specialist cleaning products, extra bowls, first aid kits. I think you get it 😮‍💨

Every dog gets our maximum love and attention, and our pricing reflects the care and time we dedicate to them. We boarders have our own individual pricing structure, based on what we feel our time is worth. We all understand price is a big factor but at the end of the day, consider the time, care and attention that is being put into caring for your precious pooch.

Balancing this business with personal life is challenging and often stressful. Managing all aspects of the business, from administration to marketing, on top of personal responsibilities, can be exhausting.

Supporting small businesses like ours is crucial for our survival. We strive to keep prices reasonable, but our cost of living increases just like yours. Your kindness and patience mean the world to us.

l appreciate every single one of you and thank all my loyal clients. I would not be still running if it wasn't for you guys and I am so grateful for all the gifts, cards and referrals, mentions on social media and reviews anyone gives me which helps me realise I've done the best I can for each and every special doggy and hooman.

The small gestures show me you treat me like a person and not just a service and makes me feel so appreciated and that it was worth all my time and effort starting StayFurever and keeping it open for all your precious pooches!
