🚨🕰️💩 POLITE REMINDER💩 🕰️🚨

The simple rules for Barrow Field Dog Park are time & courtesy for others.

PLEASE DO NOT arrive more than five mins before your booking, - in those five mins if you are planning on waiting outside at the top car park or cafe, please do respectfully and patiently not to upset the previous booking. Please do not approach the park entrance until you’re allocated time.

PLEASE DO NOT leave after your booking time. Bookings are back to back, so if you’re booked in for example 12.00-13.00 you need to have left and the gate closed behind you by 13.00 not 13.03/13.04 etc what you might think is a few mins is someone else’s time and whilst things happen, should you affect other bookings this may result in a charge for their time.

Please also remember to keep a watchful eye on your dog/dogs. We are getting repeated reports of dog waste being left in the field. Please pick up your poo. There are poo bags provided near the toy basket, please use them.

Please stick to the rules so that everyone can enjoy stress free fun at Barrow Field Dog Park.

Hi everyone

Thank you for your patience and understanding whilst we work hard to restore the park to its former glory following the horrendous flooding that took place on NYE.

The water has now subsided but we have been left with lots of damage and debris, particularly with our coffee trailer The Dog House and our Farm. Lots of tools and machinery, animal feed and bedding has been lost and the fencing in the dog park will need repairing.

We are now on a clean up mission and working hard to repair the damage caused. We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank everyone who has offered help and been down to help with the clear up, we are so grateful!

Our friends have very kindly set up a go fund me page to help with the cost to repair the damage caused by the floods. Thank you to everyone for your generous donations. This really does help, as many of you know we are a new business and have invested so much into making our business successful and to form part of our community. We hope to be back and running soon, but we have lots to do!

Unfortunately the River Mersey has burst its banks and the dog park and cafe have flooded.

The dog park & cafe will remain closed until further notice. We will issue refunds as soon as possible to all those affected.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused, this is an unavoidable situation.

We will keep you all updated as soon as we know more.

Unfortunately due to the severe weather, The Dog House cafe will not be open this morning. We will review the situation again this afternoon to see if we could possibly open later in the day.

We still have spaces available for our upcoming puppy meet this Sunday at 11am, for small puppies ages 6 - 18 months. £10 per dog, each dog receives a treat cone and each booking will receive a free tea or coffee from our on site cafe!
