Where it all began

Short, Bark & Sides was first established in 2014.

I grew up in my family home where I found my first best friend Charlie, My parents White Miniature Poodle. They routinely had Charlie groomed at a local groomers. I use to love going with my parents to collect him and I would be absolutely besotted by all the beautifully groomed dogs in the parlour, I would want to spend hours in there petting them all. But obviously that wasn't allowed... I remember thinking of how id love to be able to have that job one day, spending all day with the animals I adore, making them feel and look as beautiful on the outside as they make me feel on the inside. So I grew up and I went to college to train as a dog groomer And that is where Short Bark & Sides all started in April 2014. I had 4 very successful years in an office converted salon above my parents business. Unfortunately in 2018 I left the salon to take some time out for myself and sadly left some of my most loyal clients behind. Now presently in 2019 I am back in a better place with a bigger location and I am very excited to see what the future holds for Short, Bark & Sides. I now live with my own best friend, Midas a little miniature pinscher and two miniature poodles Barney & Buddy. I would be over the moon to see some familiar wet noses and waggy tails.
