Just one dog at a time
As a self-employed dog groomer working from home I have the freedom to work in a way that is most enjoyable both your dog and myself. For me that means just one dog at a time, no crates, and no ques of dogs. Larger salons have dogs “conveyor belt style,” with one person bathing, one drying and one cutting. This can be very stressful for dogs, especially those who are nervous of other dogs, people or noise. By having just one dog at a time in the salon I can help to reduce the stress to a minimum, making for a happy dog and a happy groomer. If you have more than one dog to bring to the Grooming Shack I happily welcome them together with a comfy basket for the waiting dog.
