Hello, my name is Ros, I have been a dog owner all my life and have a real passion for dog training, emphasising the relationship and communication between owner and dog. I qualified as a trainer with Puppy School UK and now run my own independent business, Puppy Talk IOW. I have been running classes on the Island for many years. TEMPORARY TWO MONTH BREAK - The good news: both my son's wife and my

daughter are expecting babies in the Spring! A sister for my 3 year old granddaughter in London and twin baby girls in the USA! The bad news: I will be taking a two month break from training courses during APRIL and MAY so that I can spend time with and lend a much needed helping hand to both families. I will continue to offer my Welcome Puppy Home visits and Private Lessons where needed during this time, as I can fit those in around my visits to family. In this way I hope to still be able to offer starter care and training even though there won't be the puppy courses running. I will resume training courses from Saturday 4/6 and Sunday 5/6, I welcome any enquiries for puppy training at the hall to commence from these dates as normal. I run a six week puppy course, now on Saturday and Sunday afternoons at Rookley Village Hall, registration is essential. Classes are kept small allowing for individual attention and not overwhelming the puppies, first experiences count! The courses are suitable for puppies between 12 and 20 weeks approximately, starting once they have completed their vaccinations and can socialise with other dogs. All puppy's immediate family, including children over the age of four, are welcome. Training is a mix of positive reward-based training and socialisation, using simple yet effective methods which are fun for everyone, focussing on developing the relationship between your puppy and you.
