Adoption Success ✨

Arthur and Merlin have continued to settle in really well with their new family! 🥰

Their new family has said: 'They are building their confidence and trust in us. Learning what foods they like and absolutely love. We love their craziness, we can watch & chat to them for hours. Here are a few photos of their recent adventures.'

From Monday you will be able to shop till you drop at our brand new store on the High Street in Ryde, replacing smaller premises across the road.

When 38 High Street came up for sale, the charity jumped at the chance to buy the much larger shop. Says branch Director Steve Backhouse “The income we receive from our four shops is vital to our ongoing work. We were able to purchase the premises with a generous legacy that was gifted to us with a restriction that it was used to support future financial stability. The larger footprint will enable us to increase turnover, and we will reduce our overheads by no longer needing to pay rent.”
We will be cutting the ribbon at 10am next Monday, 13th January - why not come along and be one of our first customers.

We are delighted to be supporting Ventnor Community Pantry and Ventnor Food Bank with supplies of pet food thanks to a grant from RSPCA National and the generosity of our donors.
Last year the Foodbank and Pantry helped to feed 2,400 cats and dogs. During this cost of living crisis and a cold winter, we are proud to be part of any initiative that helps owners to keep their pets at home where possible.

Ventnor Community Pantry and Ventnor Community Foodbank are very greatfull to an amazing lady Veronica Chrisp from RSPCA Isle of Wight ( on picture next to our fantastic volunteer Myra Butcher )for absolutely wonderful donation of pet food.

Such an epic display including Dasher the Dachshund! 🥰🐶

Thank you to everyone who visited and donated funds for our Animal Shelter here on the Island! 😍

With all your generous donations and amazing support we have been able to raise an amazing 🎉 £1,468.40🎉 for our Charities the IOW RSPCA and the Samaritans! This will be split between both charities meaning each will receive £734.20! This is a wonderful result considering we’ve had a quieter year overall with no buses or coaches and not having the display switched on Mondays and Tuesdays earlier in December. We don’t receive any help from anyone or from any local businesses whilst we build our display, but we would like to thank Dreams for their support in allowing our visitors to use there carpark to ease congestion in the surrounding roads- very much appreciated.

We will return later this year with more ideas and new plans as we look to refresh our display. We looking forward to welcoming you all again in December 2025!

This is our lovely volunteer Su, she has been volunteering for our branch every Sunday for 30+ years!! 😇 You'll often find Su walking dogs, socialising cats, she's also a cat fosterer and you'll spot Su helping out at events! 🥰

Blue is almost 4 years old and as you can see, she's full of love. When she isn't snoozing away in her bed she's usually on a mission to get as much fuss and attention from anyone she can. 😁

Last November in 2024 we made our decision on which charity we would like to help out and chose the RSPCA Isle of Wight branch! With all your generous donations and amazing support we have been able to raise an amazing 🎉 £200.31🎉!

These ladies were born early November and are now ready to start looking for their forever homes.🏡

All these girls are growing in confidence every day. 🥰

Meet Pablo and Peggy, our giants 😍

These two have lived side-by-side for months without properly meeting each other, due to not being neutered.

Since joining us they have now been neutered and this week our team started the bonding process, as you can see it’s going very well! 🥰
