Health & Welfare

When your dog is with us, its health and welfare is our main concern at all stages of the grooming process. Should we believe your dog is experiencing any fear or stress at any time, we will where possible employ alternative strategies to alleviate this. This may require additional time or multiple sessions to overcome this problem. We use a variety of slip l

eads, restraints and muzzles to protect both your dog and our groomers from injury. If your dog has any pre-existing conditions, then please notify us before their appointment. We will use these at our discretion to ensure they are safe during every aspect of the groom. During grooming it is possible pre-existing conditions are noticed, which you will be informed of, in order to seek veterinary advice. We will endeavour to give your dog a full health-check pre-groom, where their eyes, ears, teeth and skin will be checked to ensure they're healthy...

Heyaaaa.

Roman turns 1 this month! I can't believe how quickly its gone and how long I've been away from you all.

I'd thought I'd give a quick update on plans for the business.

As most of you can appreciate, having a child definitely changes your life, and things that once seemed realistic become less and less realistic to achieve....

I've decided for now, not to return, as you can appreciate, trying to look after a baby, manage a business, whilst also ensuring its financially viable, just isn't realistic right now for me and my new family. 🙌

It's been a difficult decision, and something I've put off for a long time to make sure I make the right decision. But for now, I know its right.

Miss you all immensely and I promise this isn't a fairwell. I'm sure when the times right, I'll return. As I guess I was pretty good at it. 🤣

I'm now officially on Maternity Leave 🤗

And, I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone for the lovely cards, flowers and presents you've so kindly given over the last few months. 😘

I think I may have found a use for my van whilst I'm off. 😯🤣

Honestly, I am overwhelmed by your kindness and it's so humbling to see how important I've become in yours and your dogs lives. 🐕😘

If anyone needs anything whilst I'm off, you won't be able to reach me on the number you have as I'm switching it off for a well earned break. 😉

Heya 👋

As you all know, I will be off on maternity leave from the end of next week. 😭

The last 6 months has flown by and I've been so busy I've not even thought about actually having a baby yet. 😳🤣

I know everyone's keen to understand when I'll be back, but I'm not sure yet....sorry.

But, I've tried to find a replacement but had no luck. 👎

I'm unsure who is actually taking on new customers at the moment so I've just posted on the Dog Groomers UK Page and hopefully those covering;

Will come back to me with their availability and some reviews and then I can start recommending a replacement for your area.

If you're looking for a replacement already make sure to check that they have;

Relevant Qualifications
Reviews. (Facebook, Google, Yell etc.)
Pricing.

❌ Always ask to see their terms beforehand, as some groomers also charge for cancellations, including being late if its a salon, as well as matting and behavioural issues.

Any questions, just ask and I'll do my best to put your mind at ease.

Happy Mothers Day 💐

I have some very exciting news to share.... I'M PREGNANT 👶

After nearly 8 years together, we decided that the time was right to grow our little family from 4 to 5. (Our 2 dogs basically already being our first children) 🤣

I will be taking maternity leave mid-July, as its just not feasible to continue to work past 7-8 months. Especially if we get one of those hot summers....☀️
...I mean I want to be sipping my mocktails in the sun at 8 months pregnant not sweating my t*ts off in the back of a van. 😭 🤣

Although this is exciting news, I know for some of you it will be disappointing, especially those I've been to for the last few years and groomed since you were tiny little puppies. 🐶

But, until i go on maternity leave I am going to try my hardest to find either a replacement or to find another top quality groomer for you and your pooch to start a positive relationship with. 👏

Anyone who would like some notes on their dog for their next groomer, if I am unable to find a replacement, I am more than happy to provide these to you at your last appointment so there's a smooth transition. 😎

Anyone who would like to book their appointments up until I finish in July, please message and I'll respond in the next few days.

As you can appreciate, I only have just over 3 months, I will only be able to fit in a certain amount until I finish so please do message in advance. 👏

As always, I appreciate all the kindness and support you have shown to me since 2020. 😘

Using ultrasound technology, the toothpaste and ultrasound brush breaks down the plaque to reveal much healthier teeth. 😁

Now, keep them pearly whites clean for me guys 🤣

(Only recommended for dogs who are excellent at being in and around their mouth. 👄)

I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to you all for all the cards, prezzies, chocolates and wines you've given me this year. (I've started on the prosecco already. 😳🤣)

I know its been a difficult year for everyone...

Loosing two close family members and my Grandad being taken into ICU last week, it's been a really tough 2021 and you have all been incredibly supportive, not just at Christmas but throughout the whole year. 🙏

For that, I will be eternally grateful. You genuinely, and its not the alcohol talking, are some of the loveliest and kindest people. 👏

Please give those you love, including your pooches, a great big hug this Christmas and tell them over and over again how much you love them. 😚
