I was incredibly sad when Kath wrote to me yesterday with the sad news that her gorgeous boy Ace had unexpectedly died.

Kath and Ace have visited Dandelions originally and then decided that Daisies was much easier for him as time went on.

Kath has said in Aces memory she’d like to gift his Daisies slot on Friday 3rd Jan.
Please email me if you are registered and would like to visit.

I’m sending Kath and her family all our love. We know you are missing your boy terribly.

For the last time this year all the codes have gone out (early), I’ve replied to all emails that have come in today and the I’m going to switch off for next 24 hours.

🌾 Dandelions is as always very busy and 🌾 Daisies has become a firm favourite with others.
The new shelters have been a real hit! And the donated tables and chairs have been received gratefully! Thank you!

The Woodland 🐿️ is just the most beautiful place and every day I go and cut away more paths and clear the walk ways. I never thought a year ago I’d be able to offer such a beautiful place to visit.
And a big thank you to my friends who regularly go and lop and chop, you have been amazing!
Not forgetting Steve and his amazing team from Blakedown Ltd who installed the fencing at The Woodland in the most appalling conditions with the worst rain in September I’ve ever seen! We all literally got stuck in the mud!

There is also a wonderful group of regulars who are the most amazing “poo fairies”. They pick up and remove when there seems an excess 💩and I’ve run out of steam picking up. 🤢

A big thank you to Steve the handyman for keeping the car park areas clear and for repairing the equipment over the last couple of months and building the shelters, you are a real blessing.

A big “hello” to all the new visitors. You’re all most welcome!

And on a sad note I’m sending lots of love to those of you that have lost dogs this year.

And finally… Thank you all for your continued support, little notes, lovely photos of your dogs and updates on their achievements, they are lovely to read.

Hello! I hope you all had a peaceful Christmas 🎄

I’m just about to wade my way through about 40 odd emails that have come in over the last 48 hours, so bear with me.

I found these photos of the farm this morning while I was deleting a million photos of my dogs 😂
This is the state the farm was in when I took on the lease in January 2022. 10ft high weeds and no fencing. We had to use a JCB to push all the brambles out of the way to get in.

Just a reminder for when you visit Dandelions, Daisies or The Woodland.

Litter - please make sure you pick up your sweet wrappers, coffee cups and fizzy pop cans when you leave. 🍬🍫

The front gates 🚙 now all have keypads, so are very easy to enter and exit speedily, please however make sure you jiggle the gates to make sure they have clicked into place before you leave.

The bike lock on the woodland gates 🚲🔓
This seems to be confusing people.
Can you please make sure you leave it with the numbers facing up the right way. 🔢
Not everyone can read numbers upside down.

Line the numbers up and it’ll open.
I then leave it hanging on one gate as I open them and drive in and lock back on before I go walking 🚶

When leaving put the two ends together and scramble the numbers, it’s locked.

Please put the bike lock beneath the slider, so the two gates are locked together.

💩 Please pick up and take away with you. 💩
No you can’t leave it because it’s in a woodland. I’m surprised and a little confused why anyone would find this acceptable. ☹️

⏰ And finally please check the time before driving into the Farm or at the Woodland. ⏰

Driving in 15 mins / 10 mins / 6 mins early so you can change your shoes, put your dogs coat on, dry your dogs off, and all the other things I’ve been told that you want to do before the hour or after the hour, are to be included in your 50 mins from the hour!

And a final reminder that not all Visitors have the luxury of walking their dogs off lead, without a muzzle in public. So for these people the paddocks and Woodland are a sanctuary where they can relax and enjoy their time.

Your actions could ruin the last few minutes of someone’s time in the paddocks or woodland just by being early.

Please think of others.

I couldn’t decide where to put it.. but as the table and chairs always end up in that exact same spot, that’s where it landed!
Lovely Elaine donated the chairs and table and they look lovely situated underneath!

Dandelions has had a full on tidy up today.. the pathways have been trimmed so there’s lots of different ways you can walk. There are now reduced times as the evening are drawing in. Just a small bit of housekeeping.. Please take your poo bags away with you. 💩 Please park in the paddock (Dandelions) and on the gravel area provided. 🚘 Please park outside the gates into Daisies on the gravel area provided. 🚙 Please remove all treats not consumed. 🍭 Please do not stand on the any of the trailers. 🧍‍♀️🧍‍♂️ Please do not move or trash the equipment, let your dogs dig, or pull the bark off the trees or logs 🪵 Please do enjoy the peace and quiet. 🍂🍁🍃 Please do relax and just hang out with your dog(s) without a worry. 🐕 And finally please be respectful of the time you arrive and leave. 🙏 Not all dogs can cope with cars, people or dogs… that’s why they visit. Thank you x

This is my Grace, she’s my long term foster dog.. we both had second breakfast today… we literally snacked on blackberries all the way round 😂 If you’re wondering why she’s on a lead.. it’s because she has problems with her legs so she has to walk with me rather than running. We’re both happy.. the blackberries are delicious! Does anyone else’s dog do “pick your own” ?

There are two paddocks to choose from when booking. Dandelions is approx 4 acres or more, and as you can see in the video is beautiful. There are lots of shady trees down the far end. And Daisies is 1 acre, although smaller it is very pretty. Totally suitable for puppies that need to practice recall or older dogs that would just like a slow wander in peace. When you email please let me know which one you would like to book. Days and Times available are posted on Facebook.

This is the entrance into Dandelions. This paddock is 4 to 5 acres in size. Parking is within the paddock on the gravel. There many things to explore in Dandelion, logs, trailer, tunnels, jumps and cable reels.

Dandelions has had a tidy up! The grass has been cut, there is a wide expanse of short grass and then lots of paths cut through the longer grass, so lots of ways to walk, loads of sniffs for your pooch not mention all the shady trees at the bottom 🐕

Hello new people! This is Dandelions! Lush green grass, birdsong and lots of paths to walk. This weekend is fully booked in both paddocks 🐾🐾
