Whale eye

Perfectly illustrated example of a dog showing “whale eye”. This dog is showing it is tense, possible stressed and in some examples frightened (not this case she just doesn’t want the other dog near her toy). It shows us that the dog needs space, is not happy. Body language is the way our dogs communicate with us and other dogs. Learn the language your dog will appreciate it :-)

In light of our dearly beloved Queens funeral on Monday only essential let outs and walks will be covered. Not a decision we’ve taken lightly but like the queen we are massive dog lovers and would never want a dog left unattended to. Please only book us if it’s completely necessary,

Absolutely 💔💔💔💔our first dtd pup, who we sadly had to stop walking due to his health, has crossed over rainbow bridge. We are so grateful to have been entrusted with this beautiful boy. He was the funniest boy who loved his owner so much. We will miss your sniffing, your nose for a treat and the way you let everyone know you were ready for a walk or home. Fly high pain free my boy, thoughts with your family and you will be forever in my heart 🐾🌈🌈🐾

We are now offering…
🐾 Group Puppy Training Classes,
Commencing September 21st 2022

🐾 Group Sessions for Dogs Over 7 months
Commencing in October (date tbc)

Our puppy training course will consist of 5 weeks of instructions, all puppies must be vaccinated & under 7 months old.
We will be working on using positive training approaches to teach your pup basic commands, how to build confidence and self control. Your pup will leave the course with a good foundation for becoming the pet that you want.

You & your puppy will learn:

- Basic Commands - Sit, Lie Down etc.
- Managing Puppy Problems - Soiling & Nipping,
- Good Manners and Self Control
- Lead Training
- Recall Techniques
- Confidence In Different Situations
- Building a Bond

Our private sessions available for older dogs…
Working on the skills they already have attained, and working on new skills and techniques.
Trick Teaching, Bonding Games!!

Monday nights 6pm to 7pm, 5 weeks long.

Your fully insured instructor Caroline has a Level 2 Diploma in Canine Behaviour and Dog Training and is near completion towards her Level 4 in Canine Welfare and Behaviour.
Alongside up to date with techniques by attending CDP Courses in Dog Training.

Whose up for a group walk next week? Thursday 10:30-12:30 approx
1 hours exercise in a secure paddock, pick up and drop off, for social dogs to have a play and enjoy some company. Fully insured, dbs checked, experienced and pet first aid trained 🐶❤️

My dogs never do everything right all the time, I’d like to think they are pretty good dogs but what I love about them is the relationship we have. They are not afraid to make mistakes and because they aren’t they then have the confidence to try to work out what was wanted of them without being worried

Shaded wooded walk earlier today and now an afternoon paddling in the garden thank goodness I have a shady garden 😍🐾☀️🐶❤️
