As most of you will be aware by now one of my close friends has been rowing 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean Solo to raise funds for The Mental Health Foundation and The Deenabandhu Trust. She will also be the first woman of colour to row unsupported and Solo across any ocean. The most exciting thing is I have found out today that she is due into English Harbour Town, Antigua this Saturday with only 337 Nautical miles remaining🎉🎉🎉. Good Evening,

If anyone doesn't already know one of my close friends will be rowing 3000 miles Solo across the Atlantic Ocean From La Gomera in the Canary Islands to Antigua in the Caribbean. In the process she will raising money for The Mental Health Foundation and Deenabandhu Trust.

Here are a few words from Ananya herself as to why she wants to raise money for these foundations/charities.

Why the Mental Health Foundation?
Mental health is not just a concern for a few; just as we're all susceptible to physical illness, regardless or background of circumstance, mental health can affect everyone. The majority of resources are directed toward treating mental illness whereas the MHF focuses on research & prevention and work to change social perceptions around mental health which is unfairly stigmatised, even as mental illness rates continue to rise globally.

Why Deenabandhu Trust?
A charity that’s close to Ananya personally, Deenabandhu Trust is an NGO in southern India founded by her uncle as a home and school for children from difficult backgrounds, which also provides a further education scholarship programme and teacher programme. Children from Deenabandhu have gone on to become architects, nurses, engineers and social workers directly as a result of Deenabandhu where these children would otherwise have very few options in life, open to poverty and exploitation.

Here at Sit 'n' Stay we will be making a contribution to help Ananya raise her goal target. If anyone would like me to make a contribution on their behalf please drop me a message and I can arrange for the money to be sent across when I send my own payment across.

Many of you will of heard me speak about my best friend Vicky aka "Auntie Vicky"! She has been a massive supporter of my business ever since we first opened nearly 3 years ago. She has been on nearly every adventure day and has looked after a few of the crew when I have been struggling. Well her and her partner Dan are heading back to Vicky's home country of Greece and whilst they are there they will be renovating some apartments they have over there. They renovated their current apartment
If anyone is looking for some time away in the sunshine and would like to know a bit more about the apartments they have pop myself or a message and I am sure we will be happy to help. I want to wish Vicky and Dan a massive good luck in their new venture. I know we will miss them lots here at Sit 'n' Stay. I guess it gives me more excuses to book more time off for myself to go and visit! ❤️🎉

Maggies Leaving Party 🎉

This evening we hosted a leaving party for Maggie as unfortunately Maggies owners are relocating. She has been a daily client of ours for the last 18 months and she really will be missed here at Sit 'n' Stay! Thank you Debbie Morris - Link for allowing us to use your Lake field. The pups really did enjoy themselves 🐾

Good Morning,

So unfortunately we have had a slight change for Maggies leaving party as the Dog pool has had to be closed once again. However instead we are heading the Mount Pleasant Lake Field which is full fenced off and secure but the dogs can still play in the water if they would like. As we are going to the dog park I now have more spaces in the van to fit more crew to join us. We will be at the dog park 5pm - 6pm Tomorrow evening (Friday 27th September). Drop me a message if you would like adding to the pick up list ☺️

Due to one of my clients relocating, I have a rare Monday - Friday lunchtime spot become available for group walks starting the beginning of October. Our group walks take place in a secure dog walking field so we are happy to take on dogs that may struggle with recall. Any dog looking to join our groups must be social with other dogs and happy travelling crates in the back of my van. This is what Bank Holidays are made for!

Today we took Bruno, Phoenix, Kaiya and Ivar to Ingleton Waterfalls Trail. Safe to say we had the best time, eating Icecream and of course walking our paws and feet off 🐾🥾 The falls were quite fast paced so we ensured the pups safety by keeping them on lead, of course we couldn't say we had been to Ingleton falls without letting the pups in the stream at the end.

Now it's time for Auntie Dani to have a cup of tea and rest her feet ready for the crew tomorrow!

Massive thanks to Auntie Vicky for coming along with us as these adventures would not be possible without you ❤️

I am so thankful I have clients who trust me with their pups and use me year after year.
Our recent pet sitting has been for the lovely Elsie. This was the 3rd year I have looked after Elsie and she has been part of the Wednesday dog walking crew ever since I first looked after her.
As always it's a pleasure to have looked after Elsie! See you on Wednesday Els🐾❤️

Today we have received the news that this beautiful boy has sadly crossed rainbow bridge. I am sending all my love to my sister and the boys as obviously they are heartbroken. This world is a cruel place and has taken you far too soon 💔

Last week we had the pleasure of pet sitting the lovely Bella and Bodhi who's mum is also a fellow dog walker Pet Care by Claire ☺️

Unfortunately we didn't get to go on all the adventures I had hoped for as the van was taken poorly so had to spend some time in the garage. They did get to meet some of the crew and enjoyed meeting my two pups 🥰

I am sure the next time I have the girls we will go on more adventures to make up for it! 🐾⛰️

Sundays are for adventuring 🐾

Today we took Betsy, Bruce, Kaiya, Ivar and Phoenix on an adventure and what a blast we had!

When we look after your pups, we really do treat them as if they are our own and we love to go on amazing adventures together.

All the pups were superstars today and it's been a pleasure looking after Betsy and Bruce for the last couple of days! Can't wait to go on more adventures together later in the year ✨

We are back!!!

You might be able to take the Dog walker away from the dogs... but you will never be able to take the "dog" out of Dog walker.

There has been many moments on my holiday that's made me think of my crew and this just sums my crew up perfectly. They are the "Worlds Best Dogs" and I love each and every one of them 🥰🐾
