On Thursday we took Nelson and Buddy to a demo at Wakefield RDA with CE Dressage. Both of the boys were so well behaved and coped perfectly with the bunting, fairy lights and not to mention the many pairs of eyes watching 🙈
I don’t like to ride in front of people so this was really out of my comfort zone but I’m so glad that we did it 💪 Nelson even smashed his first line of 3’s that we hadn’t even thought about trying at home so was a very successful evening and I hope everyone enjoyed watching 😁

Had a fabulous day at Aldham Mill with the beautiful Annabelle doing our first advanced this year winning with 65.69% 🦄
I finally got to wear my new jacket after it’s sat in my wardrobe for nearly 12 months 🙈
Can’t wait to get out again, I felt a bit like a dressage rider 😂

Super day today at the lovely Aldham mill. Nelson was really consistent with 72% in both tests 🎉 Gran and Ken also won both their tests aswell with Tina and Mickey in 2nd 🦄

We had a trip out yesterday to Northallerton EC with Nelson. Our first test wasn’t our best and we’ve still got some parts to perfect but came away with a win and 68.51%. We then rode our music for the first time and why not attempt it for the first time at a show 🤷‍♀️ Turns out it wasn’t my smartest idea as I forgot that I was supposed to be doing a leg yield and started my walk instead before eventually realizing 🙈😂 Thankfully my incredible Equidance music is so well made that even though I’ve never ridden it, I knew where I needed to be and I could adjust my floor plan to be able to make it look like I sort of knew where I was going! It can’t have looked that dodgy as we still came away with over 74% 🎉 Nelson has found a new gear these past few weeks so we’re still both trying to find the balance again. What a fabulous weekend! Both horses were amazing and I couldn’t have asked anymore of either of them. Met some amazing people aswell which is an added bonus, full results and photos to follow when I get home 😁
