Exciting Opportunity to rent a Grooming Table in a newly revamped grooming salon located next to Wakefield's Largest Indoor Doggy Daycare Centre! ✂️🐾
The Muttley Crew @ Barkley and Co are launching on Friday 1st March 2024! Located on our award -winning daycare site at Thornes in Wakefield, we have over 300 dogs using our services and are ideally located for the whole of West & South Yorkshire being less than 5 minutes away from J39 of the M1. The Salon has a lovely team of friendly established groomers who work on a mixture of full and part time basis & facilities that include electric bath, reception area, customer parking, kitchen and toilet facilities.
The Muttley Crew allows freelance groomers to rent a table on a self-employed basis and offer their services to their own current customers as well as build their business with new customers, which you will help in building through our well-established neighbours at Barkley & Co Doggy Daycare and Barkleys Dog Training Academy.
The grooming salon have operated from this location for 5 years and have a loyal customer base and great reputation. We are the only 5 star-rated, award-winning commercial indoor daycare licensed by Wakefield Council.
We pride ourselves on offering a convenient, 5-star service and you must be of the same mind set with your own business.
About You:-
You must be equipped with your own tools (Scissors, Clippers, shampoos, brushes etc)
A hard-working groomer able to ensure cleanliness and procedural guidelines are adhered by.
Your own liability insurance.
This may suit any confident groomer who has recently completed their training and can show their quality of groom as well as being confident working independently, while enjoying the social aspect of working alongside other excellent groomers
What We Provide
Use of grooming salon across weekdays between 7.30am – 7pm
Saturday trading 8am- 6pm
Sunday trading 8am – 6pm
Use of one allocated grooming table (although- if you prefer – you can bring your own in) , use of two baths (electric or free-standing), blaster and stand dryer, & towels
Exposure to the Barkley and Co customer base and social media followers (over 4300 and growing) and help growing your client base
Staff kitchen and bathroom
Power, heat, light, water and Wifi
Staff and customer parking

Rental day Monday to Friday 7.30am – 7pm

Rent a Table Fees
Day Rate - £35.00 pre-booked
Dog Rate - £7.50 per dog
This allows for ad hoc additional days (subject to availability).
