Since reopening the new parlour on Zetland Street, demand has increased and I am so grateful to you all for helping me make my business become so successful 🥰
It really is a dream come true for me!
With this in mind, I am going to open on Saturdays (11-5) starting this weekend so that I can reduce the waiting times and backlog. This means that I can also get new clients booked in as soon as possible.

He came in for a puppy introduction today and the giddy little kipper amazed his mum with how calm he was during his pamper 😃
Why are puppy introductions so important?
Your Shampoochie will need regular grooming all of his or her life, so introducing them early helps to set boundaries and a make it a calming, relaxing experience. When your dog is older and less able to manage, the bond and trust between your dog and groomer will will pay off immensely.

I have some fabulous news!

Today I got the keys for my new premises. 😬
I will be moving in to 4 Zetland Street, Wakefield, WF1 1QG (just off Trinity Walk) and reopening there, all by my little self. There is space to drop off your dogs just outside the new parlour too!

This new parlour will be on a one to one basis, except for multiple dogs from the same household.

So they will get my full attention and there are a few extra treatments available, including Reiki. 😌

I will be opening on 1st March so if you have an appointment with me from that date, I will send a reminder of the new location 😃 If the location isn’t convenient, please let me know and I’ll put you in touch with other groomers who are more accessible for you.

I look forward to seeing you all there 😊

Happy New Year everyone.

I just wanna discuss banned breeds for a moment.

As most of you are aware, the government has revised its idea of what a dangerous dog is 😞
As a long time rottie owner and consent-based, behavioural groomer, I want to help these babies feels as beautiful and loved as they can be.
So I have updated my insurance policy and am now allowed to groom ALL banned breeds - but with a few caveats.

🐶All these dogs must be groomed on a one to one basis. So appointments will be offered on a strict schedule to avoid overlapping.
🐶The dogs must be on a lead no longer than 1 meter long.
🐶They must be muzzled on entry but I am allowed to remove it for the pampering process.
🐶The owner must provide a digital copy of both the exemption certificate and the public liability insurance no later than 2 working days before the groom so that I can send to my insurance providers.
🐶They must be neutered/spayed and microchipped.
🐶Full payment for the work must be taken no later than 2 working days before the appointment to avoid loss of earnings if any of the above criteria are not met.

I’m planning to do a special pamper day every few weeks on a Sunday so that I don’t break any rules by having other staff present. And I don’t want to take their shifts away from them. The first special day will be 18th feb.

Prices will remain the same and all these babies will receive FREE full spa upgrades.

Your babies deserve all the love and respect they can get regardless of the breed. Grooming helps to keep their skin and coat healthy and helps to spot early signs of health issues. So don’t let them miss out.
